hehe jno - you're on form today. You're right about this hectic new lifestyle, and I've never been one for travelling light so I ordered a Winnebago & here's what was just delivered !!!!!
I just haven't got the hang of interweb shopping......
Hi you lot. I sneaked out of bed early this morning whilst you were all sleeping and sloped off to the hairdressers for a blue rinse and a tight perm. Hope you have fed our dog and cat because I didn't have time this morning. Vinny you couldn't possibly have seen my tattoo - I was wearing my flannelette bloomers under my nightie.
By the way, folk, Vinny is trying to set up another small business venture at the back of the new grotto. Vinny, stick with the donkey cart and biddiebus driving, this new venture won't do your old heart much good....................
See you all later. Time for my afternoon nap.
cypress tree, has me bang to rights.
Forgot to say thanks to shaneystar for her answer to my fig question and how nice to get a welcome message from Ed..
I love the hide and seek idea...can we trust you not to cheat Ed?
Prize of the day thought goes to jno's description of us as "bidouins"!!!
Hannah is now completely recovered and back to her own naughty self, the sole symptom remaining is an ability to produce the most amazing quantities of gas that smell like vinny's donkey on sprouts. Honestly last night I timed one and it lasted for 6 seconds!! (well you have to do something when there's nothing on the telly)
hi woofgang - glad Hannah is better. My little horror has just conned me into giving him his dinner an hour early by sitting by his bowl with that 'look'. I glanced at the clock, thought it said 4 o'clock....was he pleased with himself??
yes jno's posts have made me giggle today especially the last one on here new-search-facility
Oh, what a journey!
Thank you Robinia & Neti - haven't been in much lately, so have just been catching up with all my e-mails & found two from you notifying me of the move - here so thank you both again for that! -xx-
Well I'm glad to see you've all settled in very nicely! What a great AB Ed we have, allowing us to continue meeting in a cosy corner!
It's Mr Smudge's 60th birthday today & all the family are due round shortly. We all went to an early birthday celebration for him in a Village Hall on Sunday & our two daughters arranged for a lone piper in full regalia (probably less the underpants), to walk in half way through playing "happy birthday to you", etc. He was so surprised & it didn't take long for his eyes to fill with tears. (The reason for the piper - he was born on Burn's night & loves to hear the bag pipes being played).
Better be off to put some lippy on - see you later!
a little something for Mr Smudge
Glad you made it smudge - we're doing our best to make it cosy here and Vinny is rapidly filling the place with empties again. gessoo has adopted a crazy cat and dog and I think it's time she cleaned their hairs up, they're starting to roll around the floor in little clouds.... or is it one of Vinny's false beards?
Have a lovely evening & a very happy 60th birthday to mr smudge!
