It seems we're not getting any changes on AB 'til after xmas so I've set up a grotto for us. Sorry it's a bit like a scene from Great Expectations but I've sprayed a few cobwebs silver & blown the dust off me doileys so please come in & sit down.
What do all the biddies/grumps want to find in their wrinkly stockings this year then? Do you like all this festivity or will you be the grumpy gran/grandpa from hell this year?
Please feel free to take a present out of the bran tub as you leave by the way. Contents may be unidentifiable....oops sorry...be varied.

You and me both Gessoo.My mother used to do three plaits and then plait the plaits. And I used to get a great ribbon plonked on the end!!

Get out from behind that bar Vinny..at once! Do something constructive and peel some sprouts or give Robinia a hand with boxing all our stuff up ready to move to our new home.And do try to be careful with the commodes..we don't want any accidents.

Had to laugh at Vinny's donkey (does it have only 3 legs by any chance)

gesso and shaney at least you had long hair. Mine was so thick mum used to cut it round a bowl with dad's tailoring shears, I was soooo embarrassed. I'd have made a good monk (hint hint Ed!)

Ed has given a really good response in John Plamfs? thread about half way down the suggestions page..so there may be hope for us yet.
