Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Morning folk - not much happening today, coffee with a boring friend, then viewing a leather suite.

Am getting fed up with Spain's attitude to everything ie Gibralter and Argentina right now, they really need their heads knoicking together, they are very childish, whioch is something we have been fighting against since forever. I actually stopped voting as it made no difference !
good morning, another lovely start to the day here. The dogs decided at 1 am that there was something in the garden and as a murderer has recently absconded from a local low security mental health hospital near here, (honestly, no joke) I let them out to police the garden. I don't think he's much of a risk, the poor man is schizophrenic and the murder was 30 odd years ago but still....
Woofy message for you on FB
thank you Neti, isn't life complicated
Bonjour..thought I'd been in here once today. Must be one of those days, why did I put my specs on to brush my teeth earlier? For pity's sake I know where they are. :)

Anyway, it's dull and chilly and I should have worn a Libby to go the shops.
Its nice here, cool and bright but cloudy. I am having a lazy day to make up for yesterday

Coolish and breezy here too . The sun is in and out and my cardi is on and off .Lawn shaved and some shrubs cut back so it all looks a bit tidier out there .
Hope you are all ok today .There was a nip in the air first thing and I put my thicker dressing gown on .I hope this isn't the end of summer and that we get some more warmer days .
I'm just contemplating putting another layer and some socks on, I'm cold :(

I'm giving you all the evil eye,haha..my friend bought me a pressie back from her hols and it's got some charms in it so I'm protected from trolls and I'm going to live forever...might go and start a fight then seeing as I'm indestructible :)
Hot here as per. Hate it can't wait for cool and breezy, can¡t wait to wear my jeans and trouser suit in England. Dentist again tomorrow and new phone, hija also has to get a new phone, hers has died rather dramatically in the night.

My crashed out black and white mousey!!
aww, what a sweetie....
Hello Biddyfriends everywhere. Almost back to normal here except for a pile of ironing.
Had a great week down South and have to start packing again at the weekend as I'm going to York for 4 nights on Monday. Then that will be my Summer holidays over with for this year.
I've caught up with all your posts. I hope all your aches and pains have subsided and there are no new ones bothering you. I'm still running to the you know where now and again and have to go to the Drs. on the 4th Sept for a review.
Lovely to hear about the new baby Robi.I would so love to have a little baby grandchild to dote on but it wasn't to be. I did hear all about my grown up grandchildren when I went to Taunton to see Steadier and they are doing well, so that's good to know. I get a postcard from my Grandson now and again of London where he lives.
Hope you're enjoying your holiday Jno. Woofy, Neti, Lottie and Shaney - hope you are ok too.
Off outside now to sort my garden a bit...
Laters 'gaters

Welcome back Jude...and enjoy your next trip! :)

aww, I feel like Mousey, I've only done a mini version of everything today...half my shopping, little bit of washing & ironing and 10/15 mins in the garden just now 'cos I think it's actually warmed up a degree since the skies have cleared.

Not where's Wally but spot the dragonfly....?

:)
lovely Robi, i havn't seen any here yet this year.
I have just steamed the kitchen floor with my new steamer. Its brilliant, has a scrubby head as well as a flat mop head. It was embarrassing how much dirt came up off the floor though.
Have a headache, just too damned hot. Mr N finishedup the chicken and mushroom pie, mash and peas, and I had Mama June's sketti, which was surprising OK for a redneck meal.
I saw it immediately, well tinypic was so slow that it appeared ages before the rest of the photo - very pretty Robi, the dragonfly I mean, though of course, you may be very pretty too!
Took me a while Robi. I've never seen one in my garden. Tking of garden I've spent an hour sawing down a - 'potato vine'!? (put me right anyone )- it was growing through the fence to next door and one of the panels was being pushed out. it's now in the middle of my back garden waiting to be cut up small enough to put in the bin.

Welcome back Jude ..sounds as if you had a lovely time .
Jno's a long while in Paree .I hope she hasn't got stuck up the Eiffel Tower :)
Love the pic of Mousey Neti .He looks very laid back and I spotted the dragonfly .
I used to get quite a few in the garden ,but not seen any this year because next door but one had a big pond but they've moved and the new people have filled it in ,so doubt I'll see any more froggies either :(
I had a real humdinger of a bumbler indoors this afternoon though and had to shuffle him into a glass with a bit of paper over it and let him go .Had several flutterbies in too .Shows the weather is cooling and they're looking for somewhere warm .
The anymoans have popped up all of a sudden though and look very pretty as usual.

New Tricks was good ..I wonder what it will be like when there's only Dennis Waterman left from the original cast .I do like Dennis Lawson though .
Have a peaceful night lovelies. Sleep toight .
