Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Hi all. You spendthrift Neti. I bet it was great just going shopping. I love it when I have the dosh. Normal Tuesday for me. Tai chi and ladies wot lunch. A good chat with my friends I haven't seen for a couple of week s. No school tomorrow. Had phone call to start next week . Have a good time with your sis Woofy. See you all l8tr.
Prudie has solved the plant query, it is Autumn lady's tresses, found in chalky southern areas.
well, I went out to the West End today, walked all over and spent £0. (Just a free Evening Standard and Time Out.) I'm not sure if this makes me a morally superior person to neti or if I'm just keeping the economy longer in recession, but I vote for the former. Especially if she's stealing my weeds.
I don'tknow why later appeared l8tr. unless it was predictive as I did it on my phone, but I don't do it on there either! weird!
England are on Telly now so I've really going this time.
See yer later'gater(s)
Jno everyone is morally superior to moi. It's not as if I want to spend but one must do one's duty. Can't have yea olde Primark going bust can we?

Jude I hate predictive text.
Lol Neti about Primark and Predictive... second half is about to start Oight Oight all!

Brrr..it's really chilly here and blowing a gale .I've just found a snail crawling along the windowsill in the downstairs loo .It must have been looking for a warm bed for the night but it's not sharing mine .I threw it out of the window and batterned the hatch .
Oight Oight ..sleep toight .
does it have straplike leaves? It looks like a wild orchid.

Sis and my friend and I had a lovely evening, very pleasant restaurant and loads of laughing.
see now I am hiccupping
right, the electric blanket is back on the bed. The sheets were right chilly when I got between them last night. I'm going to try to leave the slippers off till I get back from holiday but I may weaken...
Have taken dogs out two mornings in succession which is something of an achievement. It's chilly here too.
Good morning all. Electric blanket jno? Good heavens, it was chilly last night but electric blanket!! Lovely and sunny here although am not outside. Just read that an easyjet flight to Italy was overbooked so they offered people £400 and a night in a hotel , here's hoping.

Still very snotty, love Buttercup cough liquid, hate that Gaviscon ! Yuk.
Morning...too chilly and breezy again. I need a warm sunny breezy day to do all the odds and ends pre winter wash, it's a tad too cool to go down the river today. Ha, I'll be lucky to make it as far as the washing line today, I don't 'alf ache again, I think I got going too soon after the weekend's flare up but I've things to do.

Sorry I wasn't in with my gardening hat on neti, I was sooo tired..Woofy neti said it's Autumn ladies tresses (wild orchid)

I wouldn't mind it growing round the edges of my grass but I wouldn't want to mow it down so I can see it could be a problem.
Shame on you snottibiza! Going into cb to ask a plant question, pretending you don't know where the garden category is, tut, tut. Admit it, you were just terrified someone was going to lock you in there with all that green, growing stuff.
He'll be waiting when you get back home...

Honestly Robi, I was in a hurry and couldn't find the gardening section, and I was sure there was one. To get that piccy onto here from my phone took weeks! Had to send it to FB then email to me then tinypic, and it wouldn;t upload, but finally did it. Sis used to get another type of wild orchid and the gardener has to mow around them, but in the end they all got mown away.
Have just packed my box for Ibiza, it's 60cm x 60cm x 60cm and it is bulging. No idea of weight so put 29kilos and it cost 28€, so not bad. Now have to wait in all day til 5.30 for collection, so can't shop! Sis is rushing about buying and selling her flats, both happening at the same time.

Ah well off for a wander through the hallowed halls of AB for a laugh.

Morning all
Wild and windy here and cool .But ...tomorrow it's going to be sunny and 21C .
Get your washer on Robinia ....it's a one day window for washerwomen :)
Hope you're all OK today .
yes shaney, tomorrow, I think, I'll mostly be pegging out. :)

I'm having an 80s musical interlude with me tea 'n toast, I've just bought the very best of Kim Wilde for £3 from amazon...ooh she was good...and stunning...and now she's a gardener. sigh Why am I not Kim Wilde? Anyway I think the neighbours have heard this track enough times today so it's your turn (or not, as you wish) :)

well, that was an unsuccessful blood test... couldn't find a vein, it was hot, I nearly fell over, I HATE needles... I'll try it at the hospital tomorrow.

Record for finding a vein on me is 4 hours, so this is not unusual.
