I had to weigh today as I had a feeling I had. That's my evenings out more and that was only as my son-in-law is abroad working for 2 weeks with his job and been out with my daughter to cheer her up and now I am paying the consequences. So I am not going to let this get the better of me as I want to see a loss on wednesday or even stay the same will be ok then back to Onwards and Downwards. Now I feel better now I have confessed.
Hi Wendilla, You'll get back on track don't worry. I know what you mean about getting out and about...it can play havic on our weight but we can't isolate ourselves either. Don't beat yourself up. Enjoy your memories and be glad that you have control over the situation. Onwards and downwards............
I ate out last night but I was fairly good for a change - Changed the chips for new potatoes (no butter) but did eat the battered onion rings (only4 of them) and no dessert. I don't know how long I can keep that up though, I do love a dessert. :-(( I must lose this week as it will be my first weight in since I went back.

Oh my gosh Jools, I can see your halo shinning from here !!! Now that is what I call will power....something I don't have much of. Well done you !!!!!
I have a peeled grapefruit for dessert. Wendilla has unsugared grapefruit juice in the mornings so I decided to try out my idea and so far it is working for me. Just a something to finish off the meal.

I usually have fresh fruit salad with fat free fomage frais or I'll have a Muller Light Fat Free Yogurt. These are free on the Slimming World diet. I don't like Grapefruit though - usually - Orange, Kiwi, Strawberry, banana, grapes, mango, pineaple, peach or nectarine. I chop some of these (what ever I have in the fridge) and make the fruit salad. I don't like apple much either. I'm very focused at the moment as I've only just started again. Lets see how I am in a few weeks time. I'll be on here begging you all for some encouragement. :-)))
Good luck to you both. I think I have had a complete turn around so off to asda later to make sure I have everything for the next week as that is when the problems start if you have to wonder what you are having from day to day so I always work the week out what I am having and by writing it down daily what you have eaten helps to look back and sort out what to have .
Well I am chuffed again - 15st 8lbs this morning - another 2lbs a week average.
A lot of my weight loss can be attributed to my running (I am training for the London Marathon so am averaging about 25 - 30 miles a week) as well as my eating habits (eating less and healthier foods). BUT I should let you know that around a month ago, when I got down to 15st 12, I tried an experiment - I ate what I wanted but kept up my running. Now I am a bit of a gannet - I can eat stupid amounts of food - so in this period, on one day I ate a load of donuts, chocolates, bacon roll, KFC etc etc
I was able to maintain my weight though - and as soon as I started eating sensibly again, I have taken more weight off - so my tip is: If you want to eat what you want or keep the weight that you have lost off - start an exercise routine.
And for those people who say that they can't run, walking the same sort of distances will burn off a very similar amount of calories :)
