For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I use Dunlopillo which you can most places including Argos. It's around �18 so a bit pricey but it's excellent. It's firm but still soft and it keeps bouncing back to it's shape as soon as my head leaves the pillow.
The only nuisanse is that although you can machine wash it you can't tumble dry it and it takes a long time to dry once wet
The best thing I ever did for my neck was to find a marvellous cranial osteopath - worth every penny, no, worth double!
The second best thing I did was to buy a shaped pillow that held my head at the same angle to my body as it is by day, not leaning over to one side which is how one usually sleeps on a feather pillow. I have several now, so I don't have to pack one in my case if I am visiting relatives, there's already one there!
I do feel for you mrs.pudding as I used to have the same problem, that was until I bought a Dunlopillow, available from Argos @ �16.99 each.
They never go out of shape & are so comfortable that we've now replaced all the pillows in the house with them. Whenever anyone stays they all say how comfy they are.
