Tips For When In Hospital

I may be looking at a prolonged period in hospital.

I've only been in hospital twice once as a child and again for a two night stay 20 odd years ago.

I'm looking for tips for how to make the stay as comfortable as possible.

My biggest concern is do hospitals have free wi-fi????

Don't forget your mobile phone and charger.............then you can order your food and report to your nearest and dearest about the treatment you are receiving (I know someone who rang the police)

A prolonged period, you poor thing. I'd be ripping my hair out but then I hate staying in hospitals.

Last time I was in, I ended up locally (E/Kent) I was not happy with what was being done so I ran the Consultant at the London Hospital I'd been transferred from, suddenly had a visit from a local Consultant, and every thing changed for the better . . . . . . except the staffs attitude!

take plenty of change and hide it in a smelly sock so no one nicks it and if you get hungry you can buy a sarnie from the vending machine

i was lucky as i did not stay in long and the lad in the next bed got his bird to bring in chips and curry from the chinese chippy every night for those that wanted some decent food

I've sorted disguises for you and gness, you'll need to wear your nurse's uniform and gness will be the 'minder' carrying her crash helmet :-D

Another tip if the treatment isn't all it should be.....arrange for a smart looking visitor to arrive with a briefcase.....he/she should spend about twenty minutes "interviewing" you in whispers while taking notes, frowning,nodding somberly......and tutting loudly....☻

Has it got wheels?....if not I'll borrow the dinner trolley from our local school......I know that works well.....☺
