//yet questions the credentials of anyone on ab with any medical knowledge and how bona fide they are.//
No not me, there are people on here who have medical credentials that I know are real & I respect their opinion. Others pretend they have by copy/pasting and using medical terminology when referring things, to make themselves feel bigger ans better I presume.
I don't even know who you are -obviously someone 'returned. who I've perhaps put in their place in the past - lol!

The only thing I’m an expert in, is what I do for a living. And I am an expert. That’s not bragging, it’s simply the truth - I’ve been called on more than one occasion to be an expert witness.
But, APG, I think it’s worth remembering, it seems to me that most people on AB appear to think they’re an expert on pretty much everything if most of the posts are anything to go by - they’re not, but they like to think they are. A wise man once said opinions are like a_rseholes; every ones got one.

oh I can do better than that ! I was called as an expert witness and slaughtered in the witness box (completely and utterly screwed) - and then what I said was found to be true !
[ two thousand pages of unknown evidence had gone down a shredder. People will know I am deaf and in my family there are some very good lip readers who saw the prosecution whisper " we havent disclosed that !"] - but luckily for everyone the judge said he was so wise that it didnt matter. well thank god for that]

Without wishing to bore the other contributors on this thread bednobs, in simple terms, I arrange insurance for insurance companies.
As an example, let's say a building was razed to the ground and the insurance claim was £1m - the insurance company insuring the building may actually only be responsible for £250k. They'll pay the whole claim, but then they would claim £750k from their reinsurance company.
