Hi! Sorry I'm late!

I need to fill in for Auntie I'm afraid, which obviously means the quality of service will be reduced.

Here's last month's thread:

http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Body-and-Soul/Weight-Loss-and-Dieting/Question1454431-4.html

We're doing a feast at AB towers today - obviously we should all show restraint and only have 5 slices of cake - but hey, it's all downhill from here to Christmas right?

Right?

Oh, okay.

How are you holding out against the joy of nice nibbles everywhere?

I have just read my e mails and if I join weighwatchers I can earn triple nectar points . Do you think they are trying to tell me something .?
Boxing Day over: just weighed myself. Oh dear...
my weigh in was xmas eve, and another one on new years eve. I did have gravy and bread sauce and a roast potato and 5 qulity street
ps what are all those removed answers about?
Good morning all,

I hope you have enjoyed your Christmas. If my weight is anything to go by I think the naughty step will be over populated today. There were so many temptations and I caved in completely. It's going to take me a LONG time to start feeling good about my again but here goes!
PASS as I slink off to the naughty step.
Up 2.8 lbs in a week. Been overeating every day since Xmas too but weirdly have been reducing each day from an unbelievable high measured after Boxing Day. Strange how the weight changes seem to lag the change in eating by 2 to 3 days.
I am down to my goal weight again, but by cheating really. Six weeks ago I went to an allergy/intolerance "clinic". They said if I cut out yeast, wheat, dairy and sugar for six weeks, then I could probably clear my intolerances. I've come to the conclusion that it's bs, but the side effect was losing six pounds in weight, and a hundred pounds in sterling in total. I have decided to do this exclusion diet once a year because it has really done my system good, but I won't go there again, I'll just do it by myself. Happy New Year everyone!
I'm rather envious. I think I'd have to cut out food for six weeks to come anywhere close.
Well done.
ps what are all those removed answers about?

A nasty Barry posted blue obscenities.

well in the spirit of the thread, let's put the excesses of the season behind us, and forge onwards and downwards
Thank you OG :-) Losing weight by cutting out those foods was surprisingly easy (I suppose there wasn't a lot of choice of things to eat), but what I COULD eat, I ate plenty of :-)
Let me also say well done Marijn. I'll bet that you are feeling more pleased with yourself than the rest of us are.
I've gone straight to jail, did not pass go and didn't even bother with the scales this week. I know how much tighter the trousers are this morning and I can't face the weigh in to prove it! In fact even the naughty step feels tight on the sides!

But I've had a lovely Christmas and I did manage to give away as many chocolates as I ate. Today has been much more controlled and I have plans to stock up on rice cakes and fruit again at the weekend for a healthier New Year.
Thank you Xstitcher, I am really pleased. But I know what I'm like, and weight goes on a lot quicker than it comes off.
I really have had a good chuckle over the comments this week as here we sit, squeezed in like sardines on our naughty step. I have about 6 chocolates left in a small box given to me this Christmas and I plan to enjoy EACH AND EVERY ONE today and starting tomorrow back to sensible eating which will put my halo back in place. It's extremely tarnished at the moment.

A happy and healthy 2016 to all you lovely people. Thank you so much for the support that you have given me this year.
3 chocolates left....they are so little!
I made the error of giving a box of chocolates to someone who insists we share them !
It serves you right OG! :-))
Best slimming wishes for the new year.

This summer, after achieving my target weight loss, using the low carb diet, I carried on with the same diet and was told by friends and the doctor "I was too thin"!

I had lost a total of 36 kilos, though my BMI was 19. I felt great! So I listened to them and increased my carb intake and by last week I had gained 4 kilos. Too much, I thought! This week, reducing the carbs was so easy, as I don't celebrate xmas by feeding my face, I've lost 1 kilo!
