Steak & Kidney Pie

I really really fancy a steak & kidney pie. What's the next best thing to home made? Plenty of excuses for not doing my own at the moment! (individual please, not family size....so sad).

Mr.S and co were very sporting though and said that if England had won they would have supported them.
I'm no football expert but I think the Germans play as a team . They play for their country .
Our lot are far too hyped up in the press and behave like overpaid divas .

jno jnr's analysis is that Fabio comes from the Italian leagues, where they're all very defensive and 1-0 is a standard score. He also hauled a lot of ageing players out of retirement rather than seeking out new blood. He said he valued experience, but the only experience any of them have ever had in world cups is losing. The Germans on the other hand were all very young and eager and ran rings around them.
I wouldn't know, I was watching the cricket instead, where - though nobody seems to have noticed it - England have just thrashed the Aussies three times in a row and won the series even though there are two more games to go. So there's reasons to be cheerful, part 3, with parts 4 and 5 still to come.

I like Fabio too Neti!
A german won the Grand Prix today!! I do enjoy me Grand Prix.
And my Dad played cricket for Rutlish way back in the 50's until the 70's when he took his exams to become a cricket umpire. Unfortunately, he died in the early eighties when he was only 63, bless him. I spent my childhood at cricket matches. Those were the balmy days just after the war. Magic!
(I went to Rutlish's sister school!)

I didn't say Fabio wasn't nice I said, more or less, that he was too nice to be a football coach/manager... Take Ferguson he's not a particularly nice person (publicly) but he can get his team to do things other teams can't.
Well that's me done on me soap box for today!
Back to supporting my favourite team soon :o)
