wish me luck. I bought the above in a harvest festival mix-up, and now i hve to eat it. It smells like cat food and the only thing i know about them is my granny used to eat them!

Bin it. I used to love them but they are nothing like they used to be. Most of them just contain gravy. The steak and kidney just pop in to say hello then pop out again.

I had one with some garden peas for tea, very nice.

Noooooo .... feed it to the dog or chuck it away. Nothing smells worse, I can't imagine what it tastes like.

My brother loves them. I don't know if it is the texture or aroma but I couldn't eat one.

Each to their own I suppose .... I love them.
Pop it in the oven .... but don't forget to remove the lid first .... and switching the oven on helps as well lol :P

My point is that there is very little, if indeed any, steak or kidney in them. They now sell for half the price they did 20 years ago. That tells a story.

On the same theme, has anyone ever had corned beef hash minus the corned beef, or fish cakes minus the fish? They are an NHS speciality, as I can testify.

Unfortunately sticking your head in the oven no longer works since North Sea gas replaced town or coal gas.
