maple syrup products

does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

Getting fed up with bedroom now. I have to shorten the new curtains. Once its finished I then have to sort all summer clothes and stuff them away and get out the winter ones. Its never ending!

nothing much going on here, I have gone to Tesco and made it back again. Hopefully four new teeth tomorrow and another one on Friday. My life is so full of orthodonticalness.

hope it all goes well Jno. Today I cut down much of the hedge around the tortoise pen. Couldn't do it all because birds shelter in there so I left a thicket in one corner. The tortoise room is empty, good air out tomorrow and much boilwashing of the floor cover towels, then on friday, the furnishings go back and I can use it to store christmas gifts and decorations in, and THEN I can carry on with sorting out my craft room and get to use the new sewing machine. phew.

come the weekend I will have new teeth and OH will have new blood. Constant regeneration is the best way to deal with old age. Are the tortoises all tucked up for the winter?

Hello all
I come out like the sun ,now and again.Been feeling a bit under the weather but I won't bore you with it.
Just general fedupness.I'd give anything for a pain free day and the ability to get about easily.No use getting myself in a tizzy over it though and have given myself a good talking to. Some people are in far worse situations so I have much to be grateful for.
Hope you're all jogging along. I bet you're glad to get into a normal bed Neti now your decorating is finished.I expect it all looks very nice.
I couldn't do hand sewing like that either.My knuckles were repeatedly rapped at school because I couldn't hem straight and I only have to look at a sewing machine and it jams.
Good luck with your teeth Jno and hope things go well for your OH on Friday.

Oh how I wish for a mouthful of new teeth! Cant have implants as jawbone too weak!!
Mr N has gone back to work deep joy! I have been so busy, doing all the things I cant do when he is here as he says oh that doesnt need intro somesuch or he stops me clambering up ladders. I've washed and packed all summer dresses away and all summer shoes, by heck I have millions and I dont wear half of them!!
It's a lovely day here but not sweaty, so I am happy!!

hello folks yes the torts have gone into their luxury boxes in their winter accommodation. Its too warm in the house for them to hibernate.

Hi shaney, you snuck in there as you defo werent there when I posted. I did not enjoy the new bedroom, it felt huge and I wanted my little fold up bed back again. But today I've been zooming up ladders and in and out of top cupboards. I've even made dinner which is a first since I dont know when!

you wouldn't like it Shaney. I try and keep the temp between 5 and 8 c and in any case never higher than 12 c. Difficult today as its a mild wet one and tomorrow is looking fun. Sorry to hear you have been fed up. This claggy weather gives me the proper miseries, need some good dry cold stuff.

Hello. I'm full of the Joys! Done so much. Big fiesta so couldnt but dye for pillowcases but could buy spray paint so I've pointed the two metal outside tables. I've done a white boilwash, so tea towels are back to white again! I've made a yellow thai chicken pot and peanut curry with pad thai and rice. We have an old flat screen tv ( for emergencies) stored under my bed but the box is about 18" too long so I finally hacked thr end off and made it shorter and it's now back I der the bed with plenty of space for other things. I've put all swim stuff inc lilo and swim ring (deflated of course) away til next summer if I can remember where I have stored them!! I love it when I can actually get on with things in Mr Ns absence!!

Neti do what I do, get a notebook and write down where you have put things. I have never ever had a good memory, been doing notes and reminders since I was a teenager

Thi k sone idiot had fireworks here last night, two terrible bangs about 11pm which took us by surprise and then police sirens and nothing more. Not allowed here without permission.

Yes that's a bit too cool for me Woofy although I like the idea of luxury.
I too write things down in notebooks then can't find the notebook and when I do find it (one of many) wonder what on earth the note was about.I've found a good app for my phone though.Funnily enough it's called Notebook. You get sticky notes and notebooks for even more confusion!

We have a general.election here in Spain on Nov 10 (and no am still not eligible to vote!) So electioneering has started..by law they cannot start until 2 weeks before the election, unlike UK!
