We have water going down the back of the sink and it's running down the wall behind into the cupboard below .This is very complicated :)
The sink is only a gap of about an inch and half from the tiled splashback and has been set into a beechwood worktop .Over time this has started to go all grotty ,the grout is all nasty and any water that gets spashed around is running down the back of it and under the lip of the sink into the cupboard .
This usually only happens when Mr S is doing any washing up .I've tested it with a glass of water :)
My son is going to fit a new sink and worktop for us ....but ..
he's full of good intentions but we may have to wait a while ....
In the meantime is there some sort of waterproof tape that I can buy to shore up this gap pro tem.

It's a lovely day here .Warmer than I thought it was going to be .Still very windy though . My wig looks a bit tidier now .
Jno is your transplant granulating?
We are getting bored with the weather here.
bred for meat Jno, so size matters.
Hello all. It is so stinking hot, I just cannot stand much more, really unbearable and I have the bazoom rash now! Been to mexico for my eye, he poked and put all manner of drops and yellow liquid but can't find anything, thinks it is a blocked tear duct or summat. Am on waiting list to see the eye surgeon at the hospital, could take months. Have an urgent app to see a lady doctor for a mammogram, usually there is a huge waiting list but I got in on 18 sept. Receptionist said "oh you must be important or gravely ill!" I'll settle for important.

Mr N slightly up and about today, he'd done some shopping and mended a wter pump. He's also cooking dinner.
glad to hear that Mr N is getting better. We have a cool bright quiet evening here which is lovely.
Have got my new 3€ sunbed, it's a cracker, I met the seller in a nearby shop's carpark (where I do all my deals) but decided to carry said thing home, it's not far but bu 'eck it got heavier and heavier, so I phoned Mr N and he popped down and hefted it for me. I am delighted with it, really good.

Mr N hade dinner, a sort of wraps with spicy sausage topped with nachos, very strange but nice.

Lol...it's coming down in stairs rods out there now and will do so for another 58 mins apparently ,cracking with thunder too .I wish Bertha would b off :)
Wish Bertha would come here and quickly!!
I think Bertha has finally moved on from us though there are still lots of little shattered scowers trailing along behind. The wind seems to have dropped and there has been some sun. But there was an almighty storm about 3pm, with thunder and lightning 3 feet over our heads and hail pelting down.

You're welcome to her Neti ,bldy rain and wind, drives me doolallay !
I've spent the evening finishing my cardigan and picking up 106 stitches to do the band on one side . Well at first I had 99 sts ,then 102 ,then 112 .I hate bands and picking up stitches ..grr....Then I had a gap under the seam somehow .I'll stitch it round , nobody will notice ..lol. I just have the other band to do then I'm posting it off to Derbys for the rest of the sewing up :)
Goodnight all ,sleep toight .
nice start t the day again, we have had some nice mornings - but it won't last... looks like rain will start in 417 minutes

Morning all
Lovely morning here too ,nice and fresh but rain later .
I see Robin Williams has died .Very tragic .Such a good actor .
Morning all...what sad news to wake up to, I loved Robin Williams, one of my all time favourite people. Such a shame it came to that.

Bright and still very breezy here, showers approaching apparently, tut...yesterday was really warm in the sun and I tried to potter but like you shaney I hate windy weather and it was soo irritating.
You want me to sew up your cardi? lol...expect it to be ready for the next Olympics. I still haven't finished mine, the sleeves were terrible, too wide, and by the time I'd set them in they looked slightly 'leg of mutton' ....leave it.... so I undid down to the elbow and now I'm trying to adjust them (aggghhh!). It isn't a good pattern, there were mistakes an inexperienced knitter wouldn't have realised. I'll stick to the old trusted names in future.
Its bright and windy here, kind of foreboding weather. Idiot dog has a blocked oil gland under one eye, it wasn't worrying him and he is difficult at the vets so i was leaving it to sort itself out. It burst in the middle of the might and then (of course) he scratched it so will have to keep a close eye on him today and hope he leaves it alone.
I can't knit...well I can but apparently its painful to watch, its certainly painful to do.
looks like the BBC was more accu than Accu was, it is raining. Accu says 17 degrees with realfeel of 20 but I think it's the other way round
No rain here yet, I could have done some washing.

mmmm.... I'd forgotten how good peanut butter is, I haven't bought any for ages. In the past, along with cheese, (prescribed) steroids and pregnancy it was the only thing to make me put on weight. Here's hoping it still works, some numpty from the food police has probably made it 'healthier'.
surely it's healthy already
