I have bought a rather nice writing slope on ebay, however the lock doesn't work at all. Its quite easy to remove though and in fact I suspect that its not the original one anyway. I've hunted around but the only supplier of replacements I could find is in america and the p and p is huge.

Does anyone know of a UK supplier of writing slope (wooden box) locks please? Either new or old but they must work and come with a key.

Washer bluudy well playing up, didn't rinse, then didn't spin then wouldn't open. Back on for 30mins tohopefully correct it all!
Oh dear neti, getting old, temperamental appliances...know how you feel. I have to talk my machine through a cycle some days. I wouldn't go out or go to bed and leave it.
I wouldn't mind Robi but it's a new machine last September!
Oh yes. Mine's 14 this year, I expect that's 80 odd in washer years.

I get about 5/6 years out of mine but the mud that goes through them is indescribable
Error 03, drain blocked, that really annoys Mr N as the filter breaks so easily and cost 80+€ to replace. Am trembling in my boots.
Back in my cosy bed. Told MrN about error 03 and surprisingly it's not my fault!
Well, good morning biddies.
Washer sorted, been taught how, finally, to use the automatic threader on sewing machine, booked Paella lunch, and Mr N is doing his accounts for me to drop off at the solicitors.
Overcast and greyish which is fine by me.
Arm is so painful, I can't even pull a plug out of a socket now!
I dont mind talking to myself, honest !!
ok, don't let me interrupt
oh dear, neti, don't tell me your arm is giving out error messages too. I got an error message on another site last night telling me I had Backend problems, which sounds indelicate. It's chilly out there today b ut we are going to motor across country to see my sisses before one of them flies home. B-i-l apparently is having terrible trouble with an infected leg, so they can't come to see us.
Hello all
Nice crisp sunny day.
Oh I do sympathise with your BiL Jno .This infected leg of mine is giving me hell.I feel generally unwell with it .
Do go to the mexico about your arm Neti .
Hope you're all ok otherwise .KBO

hello all, we are having a difficult day after a difficult night. We had 5 or 6 really nasty squalls fly over in the night, wind, hail, lashing rain the lot. The dogs don’t panic now but have to wake me up to tell me its raining and to be reassured. Once the squall goes over we all settle down again but it doesn’t make for a decent nights sleep. We are still getting squalls today so no chance of a nap.
Ah ha the gang' nearly all here!
Oh submitted too soon,
Poor shaney hope you get leg sorted soon.
We have just been out for Paella lunch which was really very enjoyable. But nice to be home in the warm.
Hello again...it's been a very cold but bright day here too, more like January should be.

I was invaded by the munchkins earlier...two of them come through the door and I swear they divide, they're suddenly everywhere, you need eyes in the back of your head. I caught Moondust and asked him what he was doing...'Just messing with the c'puter'....haha.

Sorry the ailments are still causing problems. Maybe you need some double strength anti-bios shaney. Did they give you that flucloxawatsit? Makes people feel grotty, I felt lousy on it, but it seems to do the trick with skin things.
And you need a fizzio for that arm neti.
Lol.. I bet they're a handful Robinia.
I've had a course of Fluculoxy whatsits but it did nothing except upset my stomach .Getting fed up with it now.Have to see what she says tomorrow.
I felt really grot yesterday and it was so painful I dosed myself with 600mg and laid about on the sofa ,couldn't be ar..d with anything.
oh dear, sounds like the infection's in your system shaney. I hope they get you sorted soon, you can't go on like that.
Poor shaney. Is it getting smaller?
