Locks For Writing Slopes?
I have bought a rather nice writing slope on ebay, however the lock doesn't work at all. Its quite easy to remove though and in fact I suspect that its not the original one anyway. I've hunted around but the only supplier of replacements I could find is in america and the p and p is huge.
Does anyone know of a UK supplier of writing slope (wooden box) locks please? Either new or old but they must work and come with a key.

And tonight we are going to Star Wars if there isn't a blizzard. Actuallly, I think about one drop of sleet may be falling in our area about 3am.
I was going to veg out til school later then after looking in my diary had to dash to get my hair cut as I thought my appointment was tomorrow. Ne'r mind eh! That has given me a free day tomorrow so I'm nipping into the DRI for my X-ray 9.30 then into the City to spend my voucher in M&S. That will make me smile. Thanks for your encouragement re these tests I have to have. I think my Dr. is one of those who likes to be sure of everything.
Jno - having been to see Star Wars I quite enjoyed it really especially the special effects. Hope you do.
That's enough vegging now for me have to get a bite of lunch then school and then Sainsburys to stock up a bit.
The sun is shining at the moment but how long for - who knows.
Have a good day all. You won't believe this but my front door bell has just gone. And nobody is there. Strange!!

I did enjoy Star Wars, Jude. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to hear the dialogue and should have booked for the subtitled version, but it was okay, the plot was spelt out simply and clearly and not while death stars were noisily blowing up. Saw it on a big Imax screen with 3D glasses but I think it would have worked just as well without.
Good morning all. Been for my x-ray and was in and out in 15 minutes and I didn't get charged for the 'pay as you stay' car park. Was surprised!
Came home and bought my Derby v Man U ticket on line. £27 for elderly season ticket holders. About £40 for others. Just for Man U coming. I'm not really bothered though I love football. Off for some lunch now

Afternoon each....bright, sunny, breezy but brass monkey temperature out there.
I'm still vegging out, thought I was going to peg out yesterday. My giddy aunt, I felt like hell, not the burning kind, the frozen over kind. Went to bed at 7.30 armed with every remedy known to man and several layers of nightwear. Thankfully I did get some sleep on and off so I'm a tad more human today.
Hope you're ok with those meds shaney.
Yes, another sad loss, Alan Rickman. Loved him as the sherrif of Nottm.
