smelly carpet shampooer

I have a bissell carpet shampooer which is absolutely the bees knees. It is easy to use and really gets my filthy dog-defiled carpets clean again. The only trouble is that while I do clean it after use and let it dry in the air before putting it away, it is beginning to smell, I guess because some dirty water is always left inside it somewhere. has anyone else had this problem and found a solution to it please?
TIA

rolls up £100 note and uses it as a peashooter to blow poison darts at neti
Oh well done on the book Neti .
Don't worry folks if I win the Euromillions tonight I'll whisk us all off to sunnier climes .I'm in two minds about whisking myself off to bed .It's awful out there and the wind is howling down the chimbley .

BONG BING Jno ..next week there are two progs on BBC4 with whispering Dan.
Mon 9.00 pm A Tale of Two Cities .Thurs 9.00 pm The bridges that built London.

Hello all, have scanned the thread but not really read so apologies if I missed anything. Pesto flavoured crisps leapt out at me, I love pesto...waitrose do frozen cubes of it which is really handy.
Neti are you busking on street corners yet?
Robi, advice most welcome, I am looking at this one because I have quite a few jl vouchers and it has key start rather than pull cord. I need to get ne soon because the grass is as high as a (small) elephant's eye.

A good day today, we went to the seaside for a picnic lunch in the car then came home and went to my friend for coffee later on.
While Rab had stitches in I had to stop him and Shughy playing rough chasing games. Anyway once he was well enough to play again, I think he thought it was no longer allowed because he wouldn't do it which made them both sad. Today he decided to play again which has given Shughy a big grin and also me.
Oight oight all
oight oight lovelies!
Morning all...crip night's sleep and I'm still poor, sorry :o(
Actually not as poor as the people in W Wales with those flooded homes and caravans this morning, this weather is crazy.

I didn't catch him yesterday woofy but I'll ring again later...now I have an idea of your budget it'll be easier and I vaguely remember Mountfield being mentioned when I asked for someone else.

shaney I'll make a note of the London bridges programme too, I've got a thing about bridges.

Love the new you neti but I think you've overdone the St. trollop fake tan a bit.
Доброе утро Лотти и г-н Л., надеюсь, что вы наслаждаетесь праздником х
Good morning all ^ that is for lottie.

Off to a boot sale to see if I can get a hand luggage suitcase, as I think I will need one!

Nice weather here, although a bit windy!
I'm back...I've had a chat with the ex gardener woofy (off loaded all my troubles, lol, he's a good sort) and he says that mower is fine for domestic use...he also recommended Honda. He said the best thing to do would be to go to a mower dealer and tell them what you're looking for ie, one with an electric start. Quite often their prices will be better than diy stores and they sometimes do good maintenance deals.
Hello all
Hope you're all ok today. Weather has calmed down a bit here and it's not raining ..yet .Still a bit breezy .
Yes, dreadful in Wales .Poor souls .I know all about being flooded out .
Not much doing here .I'm just made a pie and prepared some odds and ends for the footie fans for later .I'm going to lock the pair of 'em in the front room and scarper :)
Pip Pip for now .
I can't see the weather here - too much fluff drifiting past from the local poplars. We might need to grit the roads.
well I feel as though I'm stuffed with fluff...hope no one comes the door, I've got my dressing gown on over my clothes and a hot pack draped around my aching neck. I feel like crip and I just can't get warm. I'm going to watch steel magnolias shortly, I just about know the script but it'll occupy my mind...or I could put the footie on and give up the will to live completely.

Sorry to hear you feel rough again Robi. My local mower dealer has just moved miles away and he is still the closest...also his prices aren't good although in the past they have been very helpful, they weren't particularly when I spoke to them on the phone. Sis says i should buy a goat.

This is the paella I have just made for the sisters!!
Take it easy and get well soon Robi x
Ah well the germans managed a win but the men folk are not happy with their team .Too much fumbling with the ball .Lol...too much shouting in the front room if you ask me .Have we really got four weeks of this ?
The paella looks lovely Neti ..if I wasn't full to the brim with strawbs and cream I could just tuck into that .
Hope you feel a bit better now Robinia .This weather doesn't help .Keep warm .
Morning all...finally, the wind's dropped.

Well what's the last thing you need to do at 11pm when you feel like hell? Knock a bowlful of sugar everywhere, that's what! I just wanted to cry. Anyway I decided I couldn't start vacuuming at that time of night (it's very noisy) and the worst that could happen would be an ant invasion so I swept up the worst and went to bed. No ants (yet) but now I've got to start cleaning everywhere...grrrrrr...

That looks lovely neti but if there's any squid or mussels hidden in there I'll pass thanks.

woofy have you got a Screwfix, their prices are very good, they might have someone who can advise?...and if you go in at lunchtime it's full of hunky men in overalls....so I believe ahem! :o)
http://www.screwfix.c...LawnmowersLP-_-Petrol

shuffles off[i....could do with a hunky handyman....I'm really looking forward to this cleaning....[i]mumble]
Morning all.

Poor Robi, but cheer up, no mussells or clams in the paella, but it's all gone now.

Nothing worse than spilt sugar, unless it's powdered coffee, now that is bad.

Just finished the GK crossword with sisters, too tired last night! but we had such a laugh!

Don't know what we are doing today, btu must do something (they want to drag me round someone's "open day garden!" I shuddered at the thought!
