Anyone know if this reality show will be back on Ch 5? I know I'm sad, but cannot get BBC or ITV so have to rely on Ch 5, and I do get so engrossed and enraged, really get carried away with it all.

Thanks for reading about my friend, sorry I went on..
You didn't go on, and if you need to get things of your chest, then who better than the Biddies, Jude. Sleep tight xxxx
Shaney, how is Mr SS doing?
oh dear, what a lot of poorly people, but your friend sounds the poorliest, Jude. It's really good of you to keep trying, just in case.

Hmm, I have been handed a bar of Norfolk chocolate. Mustard flavour, of course. I think I'll leave it to tomorrow to try, I can't see myself sleeping after a square of 70% cocoa dark chocolate with Colman's Mustard Powder. Funny people these Nor folk.
I have never come across that jno! I have heard that dark chocolate with chilli is good, but never mustard. Don't think I will bother!!
Ooooh

Let us know what it's like when you dare to try try it jno!!

"oight oight"

<reaches for Norfolk-English dictionary>
No, don't fancy that, n
Bendicks spiced cilli and range creams are nice. Dogs have had a lovely walk a nd we are back in bed and warm. Oight oight.
Oh dear 'Oight oight'. Wouldn't mind but the O is nowhere near the N on the keyboard!! It does sound a bit Norfolk though - the sort of thing a Norfolk 'old boi' might call out when wanting to gain attenntion 'oi oi'!!

Mr LL has gone to London and I am deciding what to do with my day. Not a lot comes to mind!! Grey and gloomy here, but at least we are not suffering the gales that our Scottish neighbours are experiencing.

See you shortly.

Hello from a bright and sunny Ibiza, where it is yet another fiesta!! Am trying to get up the energy to decorate the house (it's not as if we have paper chains looping around) but I just don't have the energy.

My sister has some sort of treatment with dye inside her and she cannot go to work in the hospice for 24hrs or go near children, I reckon she lights up in the dark! She's still plodding on. She's sorted out all her finances and will etc with her son, and is hoping to go to Oz in May next year. Mt Bil seems to be a bit brighter, taking an interest in certain things although still sleeps most of the time, and for some strange reason watches American X-factor, which he couldn't abide before!

My daughter's friend's father dropped dead on Sunday, he'd just eaten paella and pudding and was walking to the kitchen with his plate when he has a massive heart attack. His wife is devastated. He was 71.

Hope your bro will be Ok shaney.

I always put chocolate in chili when I make it and sometimes in spag bol if I feel like it. Ever tasted carob choc, it is disgusting! Would certainly like to taste the mustard one jno!!
Good Morning all. I need a walk so I'm off out now...It's very windy here. Hope it's calmer where you are. The North seems to be having it bad at the moment especially on the roads.
Hope you all have a good day. Later gater(s)

P.S. I don't like mustard on anything !! Ugh!
Morning all..it's blowing a hooley x 10 here so feels much colder than it really is. It's sooo dark too and seeing as high viz isn't my colour I don't think I'll be going out today.

I'll never be a technobiddy, I could hear a strange squelchy electronic noise the other day & when I finally tracked it down it was my mobi about to go flat, haha. It's only ever used for texts to family and friends & the only calls I make on it are for taxis.

Best wishes to all the poorly friends and family. That's very sad Jude, I wonder if sometime in the distant future there'll be no such thing as dementia. As for cancer, I'm sure there will be better treatments but as for preventing it altogether I can't honestly see how that will happen.

mustard chocolate?!! yuk...chocolate should be chocolate flavour, milky and sickly :o)
Morning to all late arrivals (just because I got here early for a change!!)
I fancy making some cheese scones!! There must be something wrong with me - I haven't made cakes or scones for years and years and years and threw all my cake making stuff away. I just can't handle flour it freaks me out. But I still fancy making some cheese scones - or is it more that I fancy eating cheese scones......................... shall I go down to town for a cheese scone............................ my life is just so interesting..........................
Morning all
Hew ar yarall tigether,He yer fa got a dickey, bor? ....as they say in this part of the world :)

And what a dull dreary one it is .Mizzly rain here and blowing a gale .
Very sad to read about your friend Jude .Makes you grateful for what you have when you hear things like that .

Oh go on make some scones Lofty .I like a bit of baking when the mood takes me .
Mr S is till running in and out of the lav but otherwise all's quiet on the Shaney front .

Am in the middle of putting up xmas tree and am fed up, can't find half of the decs and lights I bought las t year, one of the tree's feet is wobbly and no Mr N in sight so have just sort of balanced it. Star is on and the lights that I can find, i always do those first, as my dad and bro taught me cos then you can alter their position before the baubles get in the way. It is so hot here that everything is getting too hot as only have room outside until the finished product, the lights are boiling but still work!! Totally fed up with the whole thing! BAH HUMBUG!! but will enjoy it when all done.
okay, I have had an Eastbourne chocolate (caramelly thing, sort of like a Rolo, not very interesting) and a Leicestershire choc (rich truffle, very nice). I am still waiting to eat my Norfolk mustard choc (and drink my Plymouth gin, which I was also given).

Ah, English local cuisine
