Anyone know if this reality show will be back on Ch 5? I know I'm sad, but cannot get BBC or ITV so have to rely on Ch 5, and I do get so engrossed and enraged, really get carried away with it all.

half an hour's scrubbing late last night with meths and brillo pads and I have 10 fingers again, though they feel a bit tender.

Nice to see Sandie Shaw again with Jools Holland though she still can't sing. I liked Caro Emerald and Imelda May, though. Apparently their real names are Caroline Esmeralda van der Leeuw and Imelda Mary Clabby... Dutch and Irish, so that's my venture into international music done for a while.

God morning biddies. I slept in hija's room last night cos <i was coughing and hacking and was very noisy, (and I got away from Mousey always sleeping on my legs) Mr N took me out for millionaire's brekkie but I only wanted sausage, egg and bacon, which was lovely. Still having problems with bl**dy iphone, it's the battery I think, cannot get into itunes with it. Doesn't recognise any of my sim cards. Mr N is (at my urging) playing golf, just want to potter and snuffle!

Hope you all have a lovely Nerw year's Day. Our council are saving money and put putting on firework displays which is such a shame, but a couple of private displays were very pretty and not noisy at all.
Dark, dismal & piddling down ....

watch what you're doing with that stuff jno...

Enjoyed the Vienna concert as always, I like to start the year with a bit of class (3000€ a seat!!) but it's all downhill from now...and then I watched a lovely, quirky sentimental film, Dean Spanley with Peter O'Toole...
hmmm, well he must have been talking about very elite seats because they're not that much ....
oh yes, I loved Dean Spanley, wonderful cast.

Yes, superglue, this is me

Fortuneately I have people who change my clothes for me
It's all done on a draw system anyway Robinia .The dearest seats are 940 euros which amounts to about 785 Quid and the cheapest 30 euros .
I'd want to be sitting next to the lead violinist on the stage right in the middle for 3,000 notes !
Start saving now :)

Do you have a valet Jno :)
hello all, widdling down here but we are warm and cosy.
knowing my luck shaney I'd get a seat behind a pillar next to someone who was the worse for wear. It's just such an amazingly beautiful place.

oh woofy, why did you say widdling?..... :o)

I had superglue in my left eye a few years ago. Was sticking a chair leg back into place and pushed them together and it splashed into my eye. Local A&E said I had to go to main hospital in half an hour as the specialist was waiting. I was stuck as Mr N was golfing and I couldn't see to drive, but I called the golf club and luckily he rushed home and got me there in time to have eye washed out. Strangely enough for a while after I was getting spots filled with glue rounbd the eye so I just picked them out. I am always getting my fingers stuck but just bite and suck them apart, nice!!!
why does none of that ^^ surprise me? :o)
well, I've heard of glue ear, glue eye is new to me.
Hi All. I'm back. We went to our New Years Day meet 25 of us kids and adults and we ended up sheltering under a hug tree and have a good laugh. It persisted down at one time after starting as a bit of a drizzle. I had to have a lift home cos I was a bit wet!! Said Goodbye to my sister who is off tomorrow at 9.30. Her son is taking her to Manchester.
I told her I'd make 2 cuppas on Saturdays and drink them myself! :o) She wont be back until the 15th of February.
I missed the Vienna Concert Robi but i'm going to see if I can get it on iplayer. I have a cd of last year that my sister (fushcia)did for me. Haven't seen or heard from my Bro in Buckinghamshire but I expect he's ok. He usually is when I ring.
Right I'm off now to see to things before my NF comes round for the usual.
iI've got 3 bottles to go at now as I had 2 for Christmas.

Have a good night all see yer later 'gater(s)

Just heard that poor B-i-l is in a sealed ward as there is a diahorrea (sp?) bug going round, and sister has to stand away from him and not touch, he also has a bed sore, poor bgr. I don't think he'll ever go home.
Sorry to hear that Neti .Must be awful for the poor chap and even more awful for your sister. His bed sore should be attended to though .Must be very uncomfy for him .
Gawd ...I see the school prefects are at it again .Trying to run Q&P as they think it ought to be run .If I can't make head or tails of a Q I don't bother to answer and I'm even less bothered to berate them for their naughtiness either .Some people just love to be in charge and make themselves look important. They'll be making them sign a bad conduct book soon :)
I'm going to breeze off to bed shortly I think .The roast pork was delicous, my child tucked in and he's now gone back to Norwich.
Oight Oight ,sleep toight .
Neti ..you're a dark stranger like I was this morning ....this is creepy!
Neti what a shame for you Bil and sister. Poor man. And as Shaney says bed sores need daily attention.

I'm off to bed now. going to sort all my photos out tomorrow. I'm leaving my Decs up until 12th night apparently according to my NF who has just gone. We had a really good chat as we hadn't seen each other for about 3 weeks.

I'm off to be in a bit after I've had some cocoa. I tried Baileys in it the other night and it was delish.

Have a Goodnight All Sleep tight.
Neti, still praying for your BiL. So sorry. We had a lounge about day here and roast pork for dinner, the dogs had home cooked burgers on account of Shughy's allergy, whisper it his ears are FABULOUS at the mo, maybe he has grown out of the allergy. Just watched Sherlock which was pretty good.
Oight ought all.
oh dear, neti, it never rains but it pours. Well, I suppose it would with diarrhoea, but you know what I mean, one thing after another for your poor BiL.

There is a lot of bossiness about, isn't there? People yelling on every street corner like the preachers in Life of Brian. Probably prefects seeking to make their mark before the world ends.

Oight oight all... Jude, I may join you under the hug tree tomorrow!
Morning all...
So sorry about your bro-in-law neti, he must be feeling like hell. I wish him well but by the sound of it it's going to take all the strength he has left, poor man, what a lousy deal he's had.

Tis a lovely day here and when I've pegged out I might give my trees a hug :o)

Morning all. Have taken all decs and trees down and packed away, only halfway through Mr N decided to stay at home and get under my feet, so cannot hoover until tomorrow. He had a good ideare trees storage, he's poked them (backwards) into pipes and that keeps them neat and tidy. NO not pipes we are using!!! My cold has turned into a dreadful hacking cough and I cough up blood, but whenever I see the doc they have all said it's cos I cough too hard and nothing untoward. Have to go to ballet tonight, will be mortified if I start hacking away in the middle of the sugar plum fairy's dance.
