Anyone know if this reality show will be back on Ch 5? I know I'm sad, but cannot get BBC or ITV so have to rely on Ch 5, and I do get so engrossed and enraged, really get carried away with it all.

Good morning - Mr LL woke me up at 11.30am!!! I have slept for 10.5 hours with a quick wake-up to let the dog out at 7.30am. It's a beautiful sunny day yet again and I am going in the garden to make the most of it, in the light of what is forecast for tomorrow.

Am just going to read through your posts!!

xxxx
So sad about your BinL Neti. Hope your enjoy the ballet and the coughing ain't too bad. x

LOL about everybody being stuck together with superglue.

My brain isn't being very retentive at the moment. Not enough sleep!!!!

See you later.
heavens above, Lottie, are you hibernating?

Give me a call in March.
well it's far too cold here for any gardening or tree hugging, it was quite a shock when I put the washing out. (5C)

jno was Rob Buckman as lovely a man as he seemed? I've just been watching him on youtube talking about cancer, he talked so much sense.
I didn't have much to do with him in person, it was mostly by phone, but he always seemed very nice. I didn't have anything that needed curing at the time so was unable to survey his bedside manners.
Too cold here here too for any tree hugging, gardening or anything really .East wind blasting up the lokes .I did however go out for a short walk to Wilkinsons as I needed some air and fed up with up with being indoors .I was desperate for envelopes and hairspray :)
Very sad about Rob Buckman .He wrote those books about what you need to know about various things .I've got his book about IBS.

Poor old Neti ..you really need some antibiotics ,sounds like a chest infection to me .Enjoy the ballet ,try not to cough though ..you don't want the sugar plum fairy dropping her nutcrackers !
Otherwise nowt going on here
Going to watch Endeavour later and Micheal Portillos new series starts this evening .
He's round here in the first one talking about the line from Yarmouth to Beccles .

I bought Mr S. a facsimile Bradshaws for Christmas .Really interesting if you like anything to do with trains.
Though by the look of things you 'll need to be really rich to travel by train soon :)
See you all later ..be good .

Just getting ready for the ballet, have decided to wear flat boots as cannot walk in high heels anymore, and may have to dash out of the auditorium. Shaney for years we could buy anti b's over the counter and then the damned EU forbade it, so now we cannot self medicate, and we always knew when we needed anti bi's. If I go to docs he'll says "oh no, I don't like giving anti bis" so I'll go back a couple of days later and he'll perscribe them, hardly worth the bother.
flat boots for the ballet, just like Fonteyn then. We are going to another farce tonight

I daresay many doctors have as sharp a sense of humour as R.B. did, I know my hospital consultant does (now retired). Not sure about my own gp but he does chat pleasantly when he has time. I've just looked him up - on tinter, I don't mean I've given him a once over :) - and I'm surprised he's about 18 months younger than me. I thought he was a bit older & I was worried he might booger off before I do. But that also means that when I was first treated by him he was only in his late 20s...eek! They're getting younger.

Have a lovely time neti...hope you don't but if you really need to cough you'll have to do it during the dramatic bits...and hope there are no sudden silences.

oooh, thanks for the mention about Michael P shaney, I didn't know...my tv mag's all fuzzy, whoever printed it must have started on the fizz a bit early :o). My brother would probably have spent his retirement doing every single train journey in this country...and Europe...it was his passion.
I love trains Robinia and travelling by train .But gone are the days of civilised train travel .You pay mega bucks now to be treated like a sardine .
I used to love it years ago when we got the very early train down to Harwich to travel back to the Hook when we lived in The Netherlands and we always had breakfast on the train .Dining car with tablecloths ,waiters and proper cutlery and china .Delicious full English .Loads of tst and marmalade .Nice pots for the tea and coffee and a little vase of flowers on the table . Sigh ...........
Yes shaney... <sigh>... trains with tables...and sneaking into first class hoping the ticket inspector wouldn't come round :o)...and compartments. Probably be too scared to go in those now :o/. I rang and told my sis about the new series, she didn't know either.
Hi All Bit late today aren't I. Just dried out after yesterday.

There were 25 of us.
I did enjoy myself though. a really good laugh, but not much football this year and no rolling in the mud for the youngsters.
I walked down ther with my sister but got a lift back home.
Hugged my sister goodbye before I came home as she is now Up in the air on here way to Singapore where she has to change planes for NZ. I will miss her but really hope she has a wonderful time with her daughter and granddaughter

I know I shouldn't mention this but The Rams won again today. 9 points in 8 days, magnificient.

I'm going to watch Endeavour tonight. I believe it's John Thaw's daughter in it.

I hope you feel better Lottie.

I loved travelling by train. I used to do it a lot in my younger daays. I have a friend married to a sailor and they lived down south for years and I uswed to visit s lot travelling across London later i the evening as I used to go straight from work on a Friday then back on Sunday. They now live in Australia near their Daughter while their son is still in England.

That's lovely news to start the year Lottie, congratulations to them. I doubt I'll be saying that this year...or any year....but you never know.

They have been together for 5 years Robi. Came as quite a surprise I must say. But a nice start to the New Year.

It's gone really cold, but it was lovely whilst I was out in the garden and I spent a couple of hours out there clearing up.

Congrats to lottie son and fiancee!

Back home from a fabulous ballet, it was so beautiful. I was in the front row, all demure and diamonds and the look of the 3 principal dancers faces when I whistled was fabulous, they stopped in there (walking and curtsying tracks) and smiled at me and Shaalin winked, Yay, Mr N would so not approve!!!
