I'm a Swede living in Sweden but we do get to see a lot of your British drama series and shows, Parkinson being one of the popular ones over here as well. I was just wondering, how is he and has he been up to anything interesting after the final Parkinson show?

Happy Birthday jno! http://i42.tinypic.com/hrd9hc.jpg Let yourself be spoiled rotten today - chocolate massage at the spa, how's that sound, we'll lick your toes when you come back, how's THAT sound.

Great to see you Vinny:) London sounds the way I remember it from my one week stay -89, the bomb scares had begun and we had to show our bags at the theatre, and our seats too were ridiculously small when we went to see The Mousetrap. I wasn't even overweight at the time but I thought I was gonna have to walk around with that chair stuck to my *arsle* (that's Swedish!) for the remainder of our stay.

Have ordered food online for the first time in my life, should be delivered this afternoon, will be interesting to see how that works out. I'm not exactly eager to set foot outside after this the last accident...
Morning each......
Hi Vinny, it's good to have you back at last!
<ties an elastic strap around his ankle to make sure he returns>...
I'm glad to hear you've been having a good time but you needn't have gone that far to see the racquet trick, I can do it....and with the strings still in it! :o) <might as well get that one in before someone else does> Can you send me some pasties & clotted cream please?

It's brightened my day to see you, life here in Robi world seems to be crumbling by the day, I've had to buy some mucho cheapio bling to cheer myself up...
hello all, chin up Robi, what did you buy?
http://www.qvcuk.com/...il/params.item.693728
this is my most recent folly, in the cranberry which is actually russet. I love pearls.
Poor Robi - Leader of the Pack!! sorry you aren't feeling too good, you are always so upbeat and cheery on here, I for one, am inclined to forget that you also have aches and pains. Take care pet (I love that saying at the moment - being a southerner)

Oh BTW , Mr N has just told me that his mother was born and brought up in -derby!, so with this 6º of separation, you or jude could be an aunt-in-law!!!!!
oh hi woofy sorry, didn't hear you sneak in behind me I've been stuffing my face with a pasty & cake :o)
It was only a silver coloured necklace, adjustable length, it looks like 7 flattened 'eggs' on a strand and a multi strand turquoise & silver - coloured not real stuff - bracelet. it looked a bit fussy until I tried it on but looks actually nice & summery, whatever summery means ;o)
I love pearls too, I often have a squint at qvc for half an hour - some of the presenters do my head in, haha - I love the multi blue one on your link - the 'you may also like' one....yes I do also like. I'd like to make my own necklaces and revamp old ones - heaven knows I had enough practice threading beads when I was little, I spent hours at it ...I often see jewellery in charity shops that's not quite right but have fantastic beads on. I really ought to buy them.
well if we're related neti you'd better start doing as I say.... ;o)
....and you'd better staart saving for those lost christmas pressies - dear Great aunt Robinia!
ah, the artist captured my best side :o)
Afternoon each and a big Hello Vin. Good to see you are ok and enjoying yourself. That's what I wanted to hear.

Great Aunt eh! I am a great Aunt really - I have 7 great nieces and nephews who I see a lot except one who lives in New Zealand but we keep in touch on fb and Skype.

Hope you had a great birthday Jno.

Was going for a walk to Elvaston Castle this afto but me my sister and brother decided to stay in and have a cuppa tea as the sun decided to go in.

Woofy you sound like you do quite a bit of shopping on the net. The last thing I bought was a top for my milk bottles. It makes the bottle like a jug and pours better.
I heard it advertised on the radio and they gave the web address so iwent for it. I got green ones for semi skimmed.

Off to get my tea now see yer later 'gater(s)
I am a great aunt too, I have two great nieces...with any luck I'll be a great great before I snuff it.
I am a great aunt to quite a few I think, but then I'm great at whatever I do ha ha!!!
Ha ha ..I'm a great great aunt several times over . I have eighteen nieces and nephews .
My eldest bro has eight children and the way that crew reproduce I don't doubt it will too long before I can add another great :)
Off to watch UC .Scores on the doors Jude and then I'm going to wallow in my new DVD's .
I 've deserted Neil Oliver in favour of Chris Noth .He's sooo sexy he makes my leg go funny . I have to keep wriggling me toes :))
Have a nice evening all xx

Found your bro Shaney http://i40.tinypic.com/ei8n5u.jpg

Grocery delivery was so-so, I don't have a freezer so I had pointed out in advance that bread has to be reasonable newly baked to which they had agreed but it wasn't, along with a couple of other things, but I had sort of made my mind up not to venture outside again till the ice is gone so I was just grateful that it's possible to... erm... stay indoors and upright and fed. But it looks like I'm going to have to go see a doctor tomorrow, my ear just won't stop making a constant sound and I guess the wise thing to do is to look into it - literally:) I'm hoping it's a plug of wax of course but I've only ever had one once before so how likely is that...? Oh well, we'll see. If I make it to the clinic - it's a couple of blocks away and that's farther than I made it the other day before toppling over...

Was watching Di's and Charles's wedding on the telly tonight, didn't get to see it in... whenever-it-was-and-whatever-love-means, and this time I'm too old to stay awake for the entire hour, just kept falling asleep. (They're running a lot of royal old weddings as both our princesses are getting married this summer.) Did anybody actually like Diana's dress or was everyone just being polite??
You be careful Kit if you go out tomorrow, Have you got a walking stick you could use.
Hope the ice goes soon for you.

This is the top that I bought off the net. It's good. simple things please simple minds. Ha Ha!

I wasn't struck on Diana's dress Kit cos it looked all creased when she arrived at the church. I went to see an exhibition of her clothes at Althrop house a few years ago. They were lovely but her wedding dress looked drab.

Scores on the doors Shaney I'm ashamed to say 3. I bet you did better that that.

Had my Horlicks and I'm off to bed in a bit so I'll say goodnight everyone. Hope all your aches and pains miraculously disappear by the morning. xx

No just a dancing one, Jude https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9Sn2saD6Ag ;-) ...but seriously no I don't think that would help, I'd just spear myself on it when falling anyway =:O Now here's my plan, I hammer nails into the soles of my boots and inside each nail there is... erm... something electric... and in my boot heels there will be solar cell batteries and the nails will be heated and they will melt deep little holes in the ice for every step I take. Sounds like a plan! ...I'll be careful tomorrow Jude but then again I always am. After the ice melts in a week or two I'll deliberately put it out of my mind and then I'll look into it come the ...fall. Autumn, come the autumn! I refuse to be scared another winter - but right now I think fear is probably my best friend.
