Trying to recall a television series from my childhood. This would have been in the late sixties or early seventies. Can't say if it was American or British and the only clue I've got for you is that every episode started with the hero listenig to his new assignment on a cassette tape which always ended with the words "this tape will self-destruct within thirty seconds" - something along those lines. Driving me crazy!

TIA (back tonight to say thanks to anyone who's been able to put me out of my misery, as it were:)

That looks a good film Robi. I like Helen Mirren.

I can't be bothered to find another avatar so I'm going back to Johnny for a bit.
Goodnight all see you tomorrow.
Night Jude .Sleep well.
It's too early for me .I'll only lay up there and perspire and I'm short of a book to read .I've been staring at a crossword for the last hour and getting nowhere .I'll scribble on it in a minute ;)
Oh yes Shawshank Robinia great film ..another one of my faves along with Dances with Woolfies . .
Morning all, Dolly can cast as many nastursiums as she wants this way, but they won't grow unless they are weeds!

Spain really do not deserve to be this far up in the footy, theya re't too good. They will get slaughtered on Wednesday!

A Tope Nadal!!!!

I has a naughty plate of chips yesterday and so enjoyed them!

Do you remember my friend marm? Warren Clarke was her husband's office boy on a certain newspaper! She also worked in the same office as Val Mcdarmid.

Who is that person on Robi's avatar?
Meant to say, spain are not that good!
Norman Wisdom, isn't it, neti?

How is marm doing? haven't seen her around.
G'day few...

Well if anyone wants to move into my area, (and why wouldn't you?) every other house is about to go up for sale it seems, I'll be a stranger in my own village. I think I need to get some rules written up before any riffraff think they can start lighting BBQ's and bonfires willy nilly.... hmmm, looks like Charlie's made a start ...

Bit fresh 'n breezy here, I almost had to put a vest back on. I've been busy making more watering work for myself putting small plants into bigger pots but I ran out ...so I improvised

What a brill photo of Charlie, Robi!
I Was up and out this morning at 7.15. walked for l hr. 5 mins musn't forget the 5 mins. I have a couple of circuits round the area and I did them both together this morning. Don't feel so guilty now, lazing about watching the tennis. I really don't mind who wins cos I think they both deserve to win for different reasons. But I expect a good match.
Neti I have a 'naughty' plate of chips once a week. My day was yesterday.
Plenty of veg today any my usual fruit. An apple a day plus...

Have a good day everybiddy, bye for now!
Hello chooks
Vests Robinia ? It's baking here .Very windy though which is drying everything up even more .I may watch a bit of tennis .Then again I may not .I can't seem to concentrate on much at the moment . I'm in fidget mode .
Enjoy the rest of the day all .See you later.
Went to San An for lunch with the English holidaymakers. I had BBQ spare ribs and they were delicious, followed by a pancake with sugar and lemon, most unknown here. Twas a bit crispy round the edges but hey-ho, I enjoyed it. No alcohol at all, nice!!! Wore my bejewelled thong sandals and toes are ripped to bits and sooooo painful!!!
Robi, have just seen a recent Come dine with me - Derby! Well I thought you were at least halfway decent there, but Iwon't be moving there anytime soon (and I still don't know whereabouts it is in england!)
YAY, RAFA WON!!! Now for the World Cup!!!!!
Nice one Rafa. Hope Spain do it for you in the Cup Neti!
Well I really think that Germany will win and to tell the truth I don't mind, they are a very good disciplined team! It would be nice for Spain to win!!
Oh dear! Shaney what can I say. I hope Germany do it for you too!!

Evening biddies. I'm sure I have something to say. Just don't know what it is, it's so stuffy and close and yesterday was the hottest day in Sweden this summer. Of course I had to go and put coconut oil in my hair the night before (as treatment) and it still feels oily after 4... shampooings? A guy I worked with long ago put olive oil in his hair overnight and in the morning the landlord had turned the water off ha ha.

Yesterday I went for a walk in the huge park nearby and as I sat on a bench a dog came up from behind and passed under the bench to stand between my legs, she just stood there as if she were my dog <3 Her people were nearby though. (This story has absolutely no point except it was nice:)

Couple of out-of-town friends will be in town for the day next week so weather permitting we'll make a ferry trip through the archipelago and spend the better part of the day on one of the islands. It says here we have 24 000 islands and islets to choose from but in the Swedish Wiki entry it says 30-35 000, oh well, we'll find an island http://en.wikipedia.o...Stockholm_archipelago

Happy to hear Mr Woof is doing well:)
Well of course Jude if Spain win Neti's name vill go on zee list :))

If there was an island round here Kit I would escape to it
It's baking hot here .Mind you I have the North Sea on my doorstep but it's too darned hot to make the effort to walk down there .Plus Mr S isn't really in walking mode at the moment .It's even too hot to be in the garden and it's sooo windy I'm frit me parasol will take off and end up in Derbys:)
I'm just waiting for the sun to go over so I can water the crispy petunias .
Oh dear, the best man lost. Those clear blue eyes...oooh, if only I was 10 yrs younger...oh alright...<sigh>

Sorry to disappoint Jude but that was a stunt double... Charlie was washing his hair that day :o)

Yes shaney it's been quite cool here, a tearing wind & we've not seen an awful lot of sun until the past hour or so.

That happened to me too Kit, a lovely dog came bounding right up to where I was sitting & plonked his front paws on my knees...the bad news was he'd just come straight from a dip in the lake. The poor embarrassed owner was speechless haha.

Must be the sardines on your breath Robinia>>>>>>
...but seriously though it made my day:)
Overcast and windy here, nice not to have the boiling sun!
Blimey, you lot ain't half been talking a lot. I read through and now can't remember who has said what.

So all I will say is the weather is now cloudy and hopefully it might rain (probably will, 'cos I have just spent an hour watering.

I was glad Nadal won, and personally think he ain't too bad looking either, even though he fiddles with his pants (I now can't stop looking out for it!) Didn't fancy the other fellow at all.

And at long last we have come to an agreement between all parties and are ready to market the land, although I will probably be 90 by the time it gets sold!! Next step is solicitors to get a joint agreement drawn up. Hopefully, it will go smoothly.

Off now to cook a roast chicken!!
