Seems like the guy who was attacked did nothing more than walk past minding his own business, unless of course someone can find a link with more info.

The edl claim to be 'Peacefully protesting against militant Islam' Shame no one thought to tell this guy that.

You Sir (ups I think I got in trouble for using the female term, but perhaps it is ok in this case) are just describing what you yourself periodically do, but from the opposite position.

ie Remember your continual racial accusations when you are confronted by black crimes, that being that all paedophiles are mainly middle aged white men.

So perhaps your contributions should be taken with a pinch of salt the size of a tennis ball?
Anne - which had nothing to do with the OP.
It'll just have been coincidence that a white bloke in an EDL-Stockport Branch T-shirt decided to get nasty with an Asian bloke...........that's all.
ummm. go find someone else to irritate. doesnt work with me. lol

jno no problem :)

aog "A closing note however in the case of the EDL member attacking a Muslim, the Muslim walked away.

Which isn't the case for some, when a Muslim terrorist attack takes place. "

So are you classing this as a EDL terrorist attack then?

Den .... "I felt the thread was delibrately posted to incite and argument not a discussion"

care to explain that? This is the news section, that is a news item.
Question Author
AP ... "Well I'm seriously NOT into censorship - even if posts do degenerate into slanging matches, I believe things should be left to run their course. If someone doesn't like what's going on within ONE thread, they can always not open it ...can't they ? "

totally agree
i imagine her reasoning was pretty much the same as mine Safiya, and i believe i gave my explanation for what i did and said :-)

jack and boo

again no problem :-)

sorry for doing this in bits, I'm just going down each page as it's so confusing.
Safiya - <news item in news section> - that is very true, its just a shame its not as clear cut as posters would have us believe.
Question Author
AP... "...aaaanyway, the EDL - genuine political group or just a bunch of thugs ?
How do they differ from the BNP, National Front or the British Movement ?
Or is it just another variation on a theme ? "

I think their tshirts are slightly more expensive, but I did hear a rumour that a certain EDL person was skimming off the profits to fund a coke habit, so maybe that's why ;_0
Question Author
aog ... "Well having trawled through this thread, the usual words have been liberally used, knuckledraggers, racist, thickos, a howling, thuggish, and intimidating mass, Right wing racists, the uneducated prat!, Neanderthals, thuggish moronic knuckle draggers, an EDL thug,

Yet I am lambasted periodically for daring to use the word ‘savages’"

aog type that where someone gives a crap
