B00 - Of course, I used the word Savage in exactly the same way that AOG uses it.......except for one difference. His 'Savage' is usually from a different country or faith. It was not supposed to be 'goading' it was supposed to be 'highlighting' that certain doors swing both ways and that he would almost have certainly used the article to illustrate his point ( I hesitate to say points because he seems to have just the one) had the colour of the skin of the men in the article been reversed !

As I've said, I shall calm down but sometimes 'debates', heated as they may become, ought to be allowed to play out......certainly further than mine got.

All shall be restored to its former state of calm, I'm sure :o)

Well having trawled through this thread, the usual words have been liberally used, knuckledraggers, racist, thickos, a howling, thuggish, and intimidating mass, Right wing racists, the uneducated prat!, Neanderthals, thuggish moronic knuckle draggers, an EDL thug,

Yet I am lambasted periodically for daring to use the word ‘savages’, not only to persons with a skin of a different colour as JTH continues to incorrectly state, but to anyone that commits a horrible crime.

I admit it was first used by me to describe a number of gang rapes committed by gangs of youths who happened to be black, in this instance, and I make no apologies for using it, was because it was the only way to describe such persons.

It was interesting to note however that those who condemned me, were not prepared to condemn these perpetrators, which is not unusual seeing that they happened to be black..

But they have no qualms against calling this one off so called EDL savage, all the words I have highlighted above.

I don't know if you're new here, but I'll point something out to you that you may not be aware of.

When a genuine case of racism is highlighted, certain people will immediately throw a story about a black or Asian criminal at the thread, as if that somehow lessens or 'explains' a racist attack.

Their contributions should be taken with a pinch of salt the size of a tennis ball.
