Refuse entry for security reasons.

In view of this and other such incidents, plus the calls for a nation wide ban on the burka falling on deaf ears, I wonder if for security reasons it would be lawful for banks, shops, travel agents etc to ban anyone wearing a burka from entering their premises?

We all have our views, and this one has run its course.
"i don't think so"
It is so plainly exaggerated and extreme, it can't not be in jest. If it isn't, then it just looks silly. So no threat to your liberty either way.
"number of people in the National press have been harangued for airing their views on the subject"
Firstly, you are exaggerating considerably the number that have been called racist. Secondly, the fact that they were attacked is called 'being challenged'. Lots of ABers seem to mistake it for persecution. If people think these journalists are racists, then they can say so - and if they're not racists, then these people will look ridiculous and will have undermined themselves. None of these journalists as far as I can remember have been made to recant their views against their will or have been forcibly silenced - that would be persecution.

If you want to capitulate, then frankly that's your problem - don't blame the people arguing with you.

Then why are you complaining if you don't disagree that people with right wing views are not being persecuted in the way they seem to think they are?

Personally, I don't think they look that silly...

"please show me one of my complaints on this thread"
Complaining was probably the wrong word - you're right, you haven't complained anywhere.
But I think you do come across as having some sympathy with the idea that you're 'not allowed' to disagree with liberals. Which for the reasons outlined previously, I think is extremely mistaken.
