i was made redundant twice during maggies being pm and i often disagreeed with her policies but i do recognise that she was not personally money grabbing (blair - his missus, thank you tony, and brown and scargill) come to mind and she did stand up for this country and not let it sink into being an off shoot province of germany. she did save us a lot of money and just for that she is worth the cost of the funeral.

i now have o go and try to earn some money to pay for all the loses incurred by the last govenrment.

I must be possibly the only person on AB to think that both Thatcher and Blair were, in their ways, good for this country. Not always, but often enough that it was worthwhile having them.
