The police anticipated a breach of the peace and one did occur. Difficult to apportion blame as the EDL and their detractors are as bad as each other. The courts will decide, but well done the police for sorting it out efficiently.

/// And, as to book covers, I may now see you as white lambskin, with tooled front, and aeg, if you prefer [aeg = all edges gilt. Note: that is 'gilt' not
'guilt'] ///

And I will see yours as a top shelf book along with it's dirty cover, and since these give out no information whatsoever, and are only for titillation, I won't be bothering to reach up for one, thank you very much
Ah, aog, as I say , we shouldn't judge a book by its cover, should we ?

You keep referring to the videoed incident, I am talking about the walk past the Mosque.

Once again I ask, who would be more likely to breach the peace?

aog, why are you insisting on gromit's answer? You have had the answer. Is this some subtle cross-examination technique?
Anotheoldgit, do you think I am no better than folk who hope for more arson attacks on mosques and wished there were folk inside them during the attacks?

There are several scenarios that could have led to a breach of the peace if the walk had been allowed to go to the mosque. But it didn't, so we can only guess and say if this happened, or if that happened, which is pointless.

Deliberately mixing the two events, if the EDL had pushed worshippers out of the way like they did the man on the video, then I suspect they would have got a lot worse back. But as I say, this is just guessing games and impossible to answer.

Interesting, I wonder what action you would take if someone tried to block your path, in an effort to try and stop you going about your business?
Question Author
AOG,
They didn't block his path, they slowed down. I encounter slow walkers all the time, mainly elderly folk, but I have never pushed any out of the way.
What do you mean by "your business" , aog ? Do you mean my business in going somewhere when I know that is contrary to the law, but I'll enjoy the publicity?
Anotheoldgit, are you encouraging folk to ignore or break the law?
I think I may have misunderstood anotheoldgit when he said I was no better than those I criticise. If I'm no better than Mr Robinson and his English Dense League mates and he has not said I am worse than than them, I must be at least equal to them. Since anotheoldgit is such a supporter of Robinson and his pals and holds them in such high esteem, he must think the same of me too.

It's about time you emigrated, rob, Alaska and Sarah Palin's regime may be a good end-destination.
Robkep I can see only one post removed from this thread (one of yours) are there any more?

Rob...what are you ranting about again?

This Q is about EDL's Tommy Robinson being on tag. Why do you bring the EU and unrelated topics into it?
Can anyone please tell me what knuckle dragger means and where did it come from. Thanks.
