Cant help wondering why press television are reporting that a new suspect is wanted .Why do they not keep it quiet till he is found . Another case of the press jumping the gun do you think .

I doubt it very much.Middle class, handsome Consultant Cardiologist married to a doctor,on holiday in Portugal, daughter kidnapped....this is the story that films are made and books are and have been written.

Remember the disappearance of the Lindbergh child in the USA, wealthy, charismatic family............McCann is a similar scenario.

But, if she is alive and well and living with a family, she will be very confused at the McCanns turning up and claiming her, as far as she knows they are not her parents, the others are!

can understand the media wanting to get the face of the accuser hoping it may just be recognised by the public. Fingers crossed miracles may happen.

you'd be speculating on a normal childhood being the kidnap motive, most recovered kidnap victims have endured far more than that and were saved from a life they did not start out with.

surely putting that face out there is what might identify where he is and so where maddie might be, they can't rely on the child being able to get away like has happened in the past.
