Could these have been intended to be set off aboard a US bound aircraft?

Perhaps Prague has not been in the forefront of attacks against Muslim extremists like France and Belgium has.
It hasn't, but that's no guarantee that it won't happen there. It can happen anywhere.
n. // It can happen anywhere.//

Not Japan, - why? they don't allow Muslims in.
It's just a matter of time before there is another attack in the UK. And I believe it'll be a 'soft target'...a mainline station, or perhaps a shopping centre at Christmas.

But to clarify this current attack...there was one at the airport and one in a tube station...there's almost no way to guarantee safety on the tube. It's the worst possible place for an attack to take place, due to the inaccessibility of victims if it's a suicide attack whilst the train is underground.

But to contradict Khandro...these are not 'nutters'. These a soulless evil scum. They are ramping up hatred to a level we have not seen in seventy or eighty years. They are subhuman.
Khandro

The Japanese don't need imported terrorism when they have Aum Shinrikyo. The sad face is that where there are human beings, there are extremists.

I hadn't realised it was a hoax!

Wonder where it came from...hmm...
Just said on TV news that there could be scores killed, hope not.

I've made this sticky for a couple of hours as it will be today's narrative.
I'm not absolving the murderous terrorists at all. I think you know my opinion on what should be done when we get these people.

But therein lies the problem with the liberal left. They are straight in to protect their 'ooman rights moaning about detention and accusing the authorities of torture. And lets not forget how they all band together to call anyone who dares expose the uncomfortable truth of the problem by name calling - 'Racist' 'knuckedragger' 'little Englander.

These apologists also slate our troops and try to drag them through the Courts where their liberal justice mates come down heavily.

These terrorists declared war on the West. It is not a conventional war, just as WW1 was a different type. Just as in WW1 our leaders dont seem to be able to comprehend this whilst at the same time undoubtedly feel shackled by the nice from the Islington brigade.
sp and mikey, I don't think it is a "hoax", I think there is a lot of truth in it whatever some say to the contrary. Japan has strong discrimination about all immigration and my understanding is that Muslim applicants get low priority and severe scrutiny.
youngmafbog

And let's not forget those who use atrocities such as this one to further their own political agenda, with their attacks on the liberal left.
Khandro

That's interesting.

Is it accurate though?
///But therein lies the problem with the liberal left. They are straight in to protect their 'ooman rights moaning about detention and accusing the authorities of torture.///
Those are issues which ought to concern anyone with a real desire to see an end to the present 'conflict'. Imprisoning and mistreating 'suspects' wins no friends and precious little credible intel. The people holding these views are Rationalists and *not* just from the liberal left.

///And lets not forget how they all band together to call anyone who dares expose the uncomfortable truth of the problem by name calling - 'Racist' 'knuckedragger' 'little Englander.///

Whilst you are quite content to see those on the other side called 'Friends of....' and call them 'apologists for......' so I don't think you can claim any moral high-ground when it comes to name calling.

///These apologists also slate our troops and try to drag them through the Courts where their liberal justice mates come down heavily.///
These are Opportunists and very different from the Rationalists, and are quite happy to use the system to gain £££s as well as to give the system a good kicking; but they are in a minority.

///..... from the Islington brigade.///
See my earlier comment on name-calling.
Terrible atrocities, my heart goes out to all involved and affected.

sp makes a valid point too, surely part of the agenda here is to drive a wedge between us and have us blaming each other for results such as these - don't let them win on any front.
As does Jack, who answered whilst I was typing.
SP, I don’t think youngmafbog is attempting to further his own political agenda. Much of the problem is caused by people who determinedly refuse to acknowledge what’s actually happening – and, as I see it, they are usually from the liberal left.
The terrorist apprehended earlier this week and attributed with the planning and taking part in the Paris massacre of a few weeks ago, who even boasted that he was in the process of planning further attacks in Belgium, is already screaming oooman rites. He believes his 'Lawyer' has slighted him for revealing that he bottled out of blowing himself up. We can vote to remain in this mad house set up, or to get the hell out whist we still can.
Hope we get out Togo.
