Theresa May: We Risk Ending Up With No Brexit At All
//The prime minister has issued a stark warning to MPs that failure to back her plan for Brexit would risk the UK not leaving the EU at all.//

A stark warning? One could be forgiven for thinking she’s worried about flouting the democratic will of the people. Nigel Farage, speaking on ‘The Wright Stuff’ a couple of days ago, said that delaying tactics could be employed until the eleventh hour when Article 50 would be suspended. Is the real end plan coming to fruition? I think so.

Why bother protesting? Why bother lobbying your MP?
Why?
Because it has an effect. It bolsters the MPs resolve and does have an effect.
Otherwise shut up and don’t give your opinions!
Look at the old age care proposals and inheritance tax to name but two. Backtracked and unturned because of public opinion. That happens with lots of things and Brexit is no different.
Do you really think people have no say or effect? Is that the same mentality that says the UK is not capable of stepping back into the world?

Public opinion at the ballot box, not chatter. Both were in the Conservative manifesto and were the reason the Conservatives lost its majority. If the Publuc had given the Conservatives a thumping majority, there would have been no u-turns on those two issues.

For goodness sake that people are allowed to protests isn’t in question.
I do wish you would read the whole of what I wrote instead of just the bits you want to fling back thinking your being bright.
My point is that if protesting has no effect don’t bother.
But it does have an effect so to say Remaining remoaners have no effect is not true.
Either there is no point protesting or there is. You can’t have it both ways.

So you are purposely not taking any notice of context then.
You are being deliberately contrary to make a point that isn’t there.
Without protest the uturns I suggested earlier would not have happened. Otherwise the government would have carried on implementing them. The fact the politicians took that protest on board and unturned is important.
If you truly can’t see that then there is no hope of you understanding anything is there?

"If all it takes is a demonstration and the Government change tack, why aren’t the Brexiters holding mass rallies every weekend."
Treason May hasn't changed tack, to remain in the EU has always beeb her aim.
Brexiters cant go on mass rallies, they have to work and have families to look after plus many and cant afford to travel. They are not on the rock and roll and funded to rallies or funded by the Bank of Mum and dad as many of these "protesters" are.
One of the big problems is that protesters are often given far more air time than they deserve. Often pitutrues shown by biases media try and show bigger numbers than they are butr even more importantly fail to mention that even 10 thousand protesters are less than 0.00015 of the population.
