lots of chatter on here (and elsewhere) for a "people's vote" - a second referendum, it's also been described as. well now Mr Corbyn is looking to get behind the campaign:-
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-47363307

with both parties polarised by Brexit, what chance of the "people's vote" receiving a parliamentary majority? and, more importantly, what would the question be - a simple yes/no choice, or more options to choose from?

ignore, for now, the charge that a second vote cold be "undemocratic".....

so (22:33) how have I voted for the establishment? I voted against it, I voted to leave the EUSSR.
So you’re saying the EU are already ‘the establishment’? That they have more influence over us than our own Govt?
OK, let’s take this slowly.....

In criticism of TCL suggesting a 2nd ref’ you commented thus: ‘you want another vote to retain the status quo for the establishment that's like having a rerun on the commons vote to end slavery’

Who, exactly, are ‘the establishment’ in that statement?

If it’s the Government, then you’ve just voted for them to have complete power over us.

If it’s not the Government, then you must mean the EU. Hence my Q at 22.50.

So who is it?
you know the answer, I sick of explaining it to you.
I think that’s checkmate. :x)
Ok the UK establishment are the establishment and yes I voted to leave the EU which leaves our government in charge, yes our own elected shower of tish, YES x 100000000 YES. As I have explained many times It's about sovereignty, something you cannot appear to comprehend. Checkmate my April!
Ooooph. That’s some goalpost moving there, Tora, even for you.
why are you incapable of at least acknowledging this point instead of making me and others explain it to you again and again?
Anyway, I’m much more interested in your TIG thread now.
There you go again, I answered you 100% and you still wont acknowledge, what goal posts??
I'm seriously considering adding you to the 2 rissoles I ignore.
Would that be the two other rissoles who also get the better of you and leave you floundering for an answer?

I see the name calling has started.

I’d ignore you but your threads are just SO much FUN.
you just repeat the same tish like a stuck record mate and never acknowledge anything even when you are answered.
Break it up gents.
well jim you at least are capable of acknowledging a point, even if you disagree with it, have ago at training the jelly man will you.
The term 'People's Vote' is deliberately designed to mislead. The referendum was a 'People's Vote', and the only way another vote could come anything even close to democratic is if the choices were precisely the same. 'Leave' or 'Remain'. However, should it happen we all know they won't be.
I don't particularly welcome this news as I can't see a second referendum solving anything, and it could potentially make things worse. But it is interesting to note that the Independent Group has effectively wrung this concession out of Labour and therefore seems to be having exactly the desired impact...
potentially?

I would go with it being a certainty to make things worse.
The alternative is to leave it to Parliament, they're bound to sort it out to everyone's satisfaction.

Oh wait, NVM.
