Go looking for ammo and get shot in the foot.
13.50, now you are being silly, have you not heard of public relations? You really need to find another outlet or hobby.
I think you can still buy Airfix models to glue.
In my opinion, twerking is obscene and no way is that copper a real one !
Sorry guys that last link went a bit wrong??
Was supposed to be the Policeman in the 'Villiage People'
YMCA ..... He's always dancing, Ha Ha .
No
Other countries seem to manage pretty well.....

YES stop them dancing...If theyre dancing then theyre not concentrating on the crowds...
Whole carnival is just another PC pandering exercise to blacks as it has been from day one...its a crime and criminal magnet, and you can bet your bottom dollar a lot of crime is played down in the reporting and figures.....
Love those Builder.

Maybe to please everyone they could introduce a Ballroom category.
AOG - // So it would be quite in order for an airline pilot to leave the cockpit so as to have a jig with one of the female flight attendants, just to please the passengers you understand? //

Another thread - another 'So Rule' breach!!!
You've missed loads of them today, Andy!
I wouldn't imagine any police officer will be spending from dawn 'til dusk dancing away with the public, so a little interaction helps to encourage the perception that the police are not just standing around po-faced looking for trouble, and that is a good thing in my view.

Police need to be part of the community they work in, and since this is carnival weekend, there is nothing wrong with the police being seen to be enjoying themselves along with everyone else.

Full-on choreographed salsa routines - probably not, but a little jig here and there is harmless, and wouldn't mean any officer would ignore an incident and carry on cavorting.
ummm - // You've missed loads of them today, Andy! //

Been on briefly this morning, and now for a few mins, I'll have a quick look!

Yes of course they should. They are paid to be professional not prat about in what is probably the most crime ridden event of the year.
No. Interacting with the revellers in an affable manner is good for public relations – and that’s not a bad thing.
Yes...they should be banned from dancing.
Again , lack of respect for authority, which is now increasingly more common and is the thin edge of the wedge.
What next, the corporal slapping the brigadier on the shoulder and saying "welcome to the barracks sir"
One can get away with this interplay if all is well, but should the scene turn ugly then it will be a different ballgame and the authority of the police will be lost.
Still, this is modern philosophy. then so be it.
I agree with Naomi, the police dancing with the public is good. It gets some people interacting with them, not a bad thing.
No, they shouldn't be banned, as long as they are able to concentrate too. And I'm sure they are. People have more respect and empathy for others who behave like humans and not robots. A much better idea than pretending they are above everyone else, which just causes resentment and antagonism.
To keep this in perspective, I don't think anyone's suggesting they sling themselves into the full 'Strictly' routine - sequins and all - but a momentary boogie here and there brings a smile and encourages good relations rather than bad.
