Racist Abuse Over Social Media...
So Crystal Palace footballer Wilfred Saha has recieved "sickening" racial abuse over Facebook.
A 12 year old boy has been arrested.
How the hell does a little boy become so warped that they think that this is acceptable? What the hell has his parents been teaching him?

Youngsters are sponges, I would want to know where my child had got these views from - in my house they wouldn't be from home. He needs taking to task now before it festers.

//12 year old boys aren’t ‘little’. They see this stuff everywhere. I wouldn’t assume his parents are to blame.//
He's little to an old fart like me. I'm not saying he's inherited racist behavior from his parents, just that parents should instil better morals onto a child. They need to be spoken to, as much as the kid does, just to see what the are or are not aware of or responsble for.

I really cannot understand the mindset of any football fan (however old they may be) abusing footballers because of their colour. Many clubs have black players on their books and Villa have about half a dozen. Does he not realise that if he is abusing Zaha because he is black, he is also abusing those players he allegedly supports?

The abuse isn't about their colour or racism per se, it comes from a place of 'hating' players from other teams and trying to make the most hurtful comments possible to them - of which which racist comments are easy and up there in terms of impact.
Everything is fair game, a players child who died, their family, anything that will cut deep. They derive pleasure from this along with notoriety amongst fellow fans, especially if it gets a reaction from the player and even better if it affects their performance negatively.
There is racism in it that's for sure, deep down they will think their own players are "black ****s" for sure, but if they score the goals for the team they support then who needs to worry about it - but just wait until they stop performing well, or even worse go to another team.
Football has a real problem with this that is not seen in other sports.
