So the circus in The Senate gets underway. Trump has the nerve to say that 'this sacred, landslide victory was unceremoniously and viciously taken away'. What's sad is that there will be an endless stream of Democrats and Republicans spouting the same rehearsed litanies. Trump's defence team making a statement in about half an hour. As a process it's painful, only enlivened with Trump accusing Pence of cowardice.

As some of us knew Spice the whole set up was a smoke screen to hide what Clinton, Obama, and latterly, Biden had been up to. It was buying time to sweep the tracks in the sand behind them with the oldest tricks in the book. Distraction, and false accusation got everybody's attention while the evidence was being destroyed or buried. Truth though always , always, prevails. Granted sometimes too late for the victims of the lies, but there for us all to learn from. Some refuse to learn. The lies are too close, and dear to them.
