Where do these large inflatables come from. They don't suddenly appear on the beach in France out of nowhere. Those boats that make the journey to the English coast are confiscated so they can only be used once.
How are they transported to the starting point. Can they not be easily stopped on the French side before they get near the coast?

Perhaps the French supply them with the money we shell out to stop them. Doing a roaring trade in outboard motors, life jackets, and hi viz vests as well .... all over Europe. Follow the manufacturers order book. I know I said that years ago but do they listen? Now the frogs are trying to tell us what we have been telling them for years whilst saying it is "our own fault" with the usual shrug. Meanwhile the RNLI a charitable organisation funded by public donations has metamorphosed into the smugglers main facilitator. They are used as a guarantee of safety by the criminals and are eager to comply. Watch the donations from joe public fall off a cliff.

Given the number of attempts increasing exponentially month on month it is not really a surprise
Harsh though it is I am indifferent to this sort of occurrence now
I thought these people are meant to seek haven in the first country it is possible to do so if they are claiming persecution ?
Wrong time of year too to attempt this madness
The French are turning a blind eye too often and I feel they even encourage it

And by putting them up in hotels...so do we.

“Where do you get these figures from”
This is the only link I can find: from a UK government source. And it’s “crossings” in fact, not people
Of course it isn’t enough but it’s incorrect to say nothing is done.

It was never part of the RNLI mandate or modus operandi to have fully manned lifeboats at sea 24/7 in case there was someone out there who needed "saving". All the stations on the SE coast are out dawn to dusk fully manned looking for "vulnerable" boats. They haven't the capacity to respond to a real emergency and have been asking for cover from stations further afield. When they do proudly escort the smugglers ware ashore there are ambulances, lawyers and rainbow police there to meet and greet. You try getting an ambulance if a family membert has a heart attack. Wait for hours then sit outside A & E. No such shortage of facilities for the invaders though. Wonder if the smuggling gangs have offered the bods who run the RNLI a bung ... for their boats of course in case they leak.
The Telegraph ... yep even them. Although the typical Telegraph reader has been calling criticism of the process racism for years.
""A group of more than 40 migrants was photographed on Tuesday carrying a 30ft inflatable dinghy on the northern French coast near Wimereux, as French police appeared to look on and do nothing.
The migrants, including at least five children, were spotted going into the water in the early hours of the morning. Yards away was a French police car with at least two officers inside who appeared to do nothing, despite the French government vowing that forces would be in action "night and day" to stop the crossings.""
If this is the dinghy will they be charged with murder?

A new born baby giraffe survived a lion attack and collapsed exhausted into a river and died, as reported in Daily Mail. I care more about this poor baby than I do about illegals (many of them violent thugs) constantly streaming into my country to take advantage of our soft touch ! Not bothered what anybody thinks about this either ...
