Border force also work at airports and are doing their jobs within their remit! If you have an issue with what BF does perhaps you should take it up with the Government as they the ones in the wrong here.
Goodness during COVID - many on here were slating those that did not stand on their doorsteps banging their saucepans in favour of the NHS - now those NHS want paying for doing their jobs - they are now the lowest of the low.
Also those of you that collect a pension from the government were quick enough to jump up and down in a temper tantrum when it looked like you were not going to get your 'payrise'.
Not one pensioner on here has answered my previous question into how much you have paid into the system. I can only think of 2 on here that will have paid more in than they are receiving.
Pay rises should be weighted towards the lower paid who are most likely to be affected by inflation in food and energy prices. Agreed wage rises cannot match inflation rate but should at least go to some extent towards it.
Perseverer, Mick Lynch turned down the 8% over two years ,whilst I have much sympathy for the lower paid, there’s nothing in the pot and to give large pay rises would only increase inflation
I am on the same page as Bobbi. If all those on strike got their desired pay rise this country will suffer. You do not see the big bosses of say the railways & the PO foregoing their rises & bonuses!!!! There is a line & they want to cross it.
"There's nothing in the pot" .B/S ....Because Boris and his Crony Club Emptied the Pot ,and are now laughing all the way to the Bank.
