The odds are that the Tories will lose every single one of them.
With the Boris Pantomime , the disastrous outcome of Brexit, the worst fall in living standards in a generation. High food prices, crippling energy bills, high fuel prices. Mortgage repayments going sky high, and the Economy stagnating .Why would you ever want to vote Tory again in your lifetime.

"That's spin. The electorate hasn't chucked him out." First of all, you really need to work on your policy of non-engagement. Secondly, it isn't spin: there is nothing Parliament can do that forces an MP out. Suspension is temporary. If the electorate were on Johnson's side then he would have had the perfect opportunity to prove this by, first, testing the...

Untitled, whether I like them or not I would defend anyone I thought was being treated badly or unfairly. I absolutely hate vendettas and witch hunts - and that is exactly what this is. It’s not something I would ever condone, much less support.
The vendetta / witch-hunt would not have been necessary had Boris not had the good grace to see how his actions were affecting him and his party’s ratings and resign. The polls which I’ve linked to previously indicating his unpopularity go back a good year.
he is not being treated remotely unfairly

Naomi. I reckon you have met your match with Clare. Now which one of you is going to have the last word on this post. The bets are on here.
At least one of his critics has finally admitted it has been a vendetta/witch hunt. There’s progress for you, Gulliver. ;o)
witches were not usually provided with world class legal defense free of charge… or right of reply… or access to the evidence presented against them… or democratic scrutiny of their prosecutors… “witches” were tortured brutally and sadistically and crucially were not actually guilty of anything

what happened to boris was not a witch hunt. it was somebody being held over so slightly accountable for their wrongful behaviour… quite possibly for the first time in his pampered life, judging by his undignified and petulant response. he has been quite rightly ejected from parliament, and is otherwise a free man with plenty of opportunities. he is not entitled to political office.

people like naomi and her hero Trump have distorted the phrase “witch hunt” into something utterly meaningless… a thin and cynical piece of deceitful rhetoric which no honest person could possibly believe
Personal attacks are the last resort of a failing argument, untitled.
a certan amoun of jesuitical hair-splitting

that often happens when people are hounded... and hounded he was. Relentlessly. - cruelly maliciously - amd ith intent!

whilst evey day TTT extolled is obvious virtues abilties and achievement ( er Brexit) - some hounding

TTT... What are the odds then with the bookies .That the Cons will loose all of the forthcoming By ..Elections. You are a gambler.
Tories will lose all 4...May not all be to Labour
....but it won't make any difference to the big majority unfortunately....its the general election in 18 months what matters
Question Author
19.13 The GE will be this year .The Cons can't Con the Public for another 18 months ...The Parties Over. .....Time to flush them down the loo.
but it’s true naomi… your use of the phrase “witch hunt” is extremely misleading
The point of a witch hunt is that the so called witch is innocent.

When the target of the hunt is guilty it's just called holding people accountable for their wrongdoings.
‘Personal attacks are the last resort of a failing argument, untitled’

Would you say calling people who disagree with you ‘a bunch of spiteful old crones’ a sign of a failing argument then? Asking for some crones.
Anyway….
For - 354
Against - 7

Nuff said.
That's a hell of a witch hunt the conspirators have managed to organise there.

If they could now turn their attention to the economy we'd all be much better off.

ZM @ 22.11 Who were the seven who voted against.
Can you name them please.
"Can you name them please."

Look them up, testa di cazzo.
Untitled, 20.51. You appear to be the only one here having trouble with the phrase so it really is your problem.
Zacs 21.58. yes, I remember that - you’ve mentioned it several times. It came from a thread where I logged in to find you and your equally ineffective chums having a field day tearing me to bits. Others on that thread used the word ‘bullies’ - as befits your growing reputation here - but either description was appropriate. Hope that helps.
