Naomi, not arguing the toss, just mentioning the amount of time William would have known about Mr Kingston's death and you know the Royals don't cancel things they are taking part in unless it is considered to be urgent,  as William was to give a reading, so I think perhaps he might have been needed at home, supposedly.

Yes, but if Lady Gabriella's parents didn't cancel, why would her cousin, and are they even cousins? Her father Prince Michael of Kent was the late queen's cousin, so I don't think that makes Gabriella and William cousins.

If he cancelled for that reason, I would think it more likely to be Catherine who was upset as Mr Kingston used to go out with Pippa Middleton and Catherine would have known him from then.

Even distant cousins can be close cousins when they know each other well.  As I said, we don't know.

the doctoring is very clear, once you look for it. As to why she did it, I don't know. I often doctor my own photos and used to do so even when I sold them to the media; but I did nothing controversial, and I wasn't in the public eye.

The moral of the story is simply: don't do it.
