While I waited in line to buy my train ticket, a gang of workmen turned up and informed the station master that they had come to remove all the clocks

"This is ludicrous" the station master retorted "whats wrong with the old ones, they've been their since Victorian times"

Well it's like this the gang leader replied " folks don't understand Roman numerals these days, so all the old clocks and watches have gotta go"

The station master stood firm and said "Oh' yeah, not on my watch!
