too tight to get their dog spayed? I just don't get it, I know Staffies are not the most favoured dog in the world but surely if you don't want the puppies it's easy to spay the chitb? These look too young to be taken away from the mum anyway. Some low life scum just should not be allowed to have a dog.
Their eyes are still closed so of course they're too young to be taken away from the mother - who must also be suffering. One minute she has 10 babies to suckle, then the next they're gone. As has been suggested, the mother may have got out and got herself knocked up - a chitb in heat heeds no command to come back, believe me - and the uncaring owner has just dumped the pups. Sad, sad, sad.
True TTT...and there's always more Staffies in rescues than any other breed. I considered one when I was adopting but decided they were too frisky for me.
How sad, staffies are very affectionate dogs and wonderful with children, but need a strong hand on the lead. As long as they get the right home they make wonderful pets, trouble is they often get into the wrong hands and then end up in rescue.
This is very depressing, poor little pups and poor, poor Mum - who'll be looking after her ?? Unfortunately low life scum will always have dogs and treat them like dirt and I wish I knew the answer to it, I really do. Heartbreaking story.
Well it's fairly obvious that if a large powerful dogs attacks you you are more likely to die than an ankle nipper, but Spath was suggesting that Pitties (of which there are literally hundreds here) and Staffies were more likely to bite than other breeds because of their heritage.
We have dog licence as it’s required by law and you get a hefty fine if caught without one. However that doesn’t stop this abuse of animals perhaps all dogs should be neutered before homing and only those with licence can breed . Not sure if it’s enforceable.
