We are having trouble attracting speakers at the moment. Apparently the word is out on the 'circuit' that sometimes it can be rather damp here. Cannot think why.
Talking of ganders, we had a delightful day out this week and ended up at the Goose and Fox! Sampled the bitter and had an excellent lunch al fresco. I have never seen such a beautiful sky - a miracle of azure and ever-changing feather-patterned clouds. Easy to admire when flat on one's back.
“It is better to take many small steps in the right direction than to make a great leap forward only to stumble backward into the sugar (read AB translation of this word) pit.”
Ttfn, sit DT on the floor with that coffee, if he takes a funny turn he's sure to wobble off and crack his head on the buffet table. - I'm off for a week so I refuse to administer first aid.

Hi Lore x DT, I think you will see that I mentioned the ruffle prizes before Lore ever did ☺ Those are not heels - they are 2 tread step ladders. Whatever happened to 'sensible shoes'? If I wore those, my bunions would have bunions, just like Victoria Beckham!
DT - you can be Buttons tonight, this is turning out to be a version (of sorts) of Cinderella. I shall use all my theatrical talent and loads of make up to be one of the Ugly Sisters. Just use a lot of imagination everyone, I beg of you ;o)
