The Club is now Open

Good evening all and welcome to our club.

I am sure the usual sumptuous array of drinks and nibbles will appear shortly.

Raffle contributions so far

Two under ripe bananas
A jar of Branston Pickle (sell by date June 1998)
A pair of long johns (salmon pink)
4 books of sudoku puzzles only some completed.

We are having trouble attracting speakers at the moment. Apparently the word is out on the 'circuit' that sometimes it can be rather damp here. Cannot think why.

Kate, my late cousin sent me a broons book.

I used to send them every year to my Aussie relatives. They loved them, but the kids couldn't make head nor tail of them.
Aye, will get me mop, an aged retainers work is never done, mutter, mumble.
Hello, I think my membership has expired, I had a bill (from Herladyship) for a ridiculous amount of money, I really can't afford to come here any more.

Question Author
I'm sure we can come to some arrangement,Miss Meg.
Remember I have Uncle Joe and his mint balls here too...
I just love being in 4 inch heels - tugs on the stockings, you know......nothing like a good old fashioned suspender belt.
Hmmm, I'm puzzled, are the tailcocks free?
How is Uncle Joe? Unusually quiet for a Morris Dancer.
Question Author
That's it, DT. No more alcohol for you . You've Gone Too Far.

Mamya, injection on standby.
Ha Ha - only kidding - just on the first bottle.
Hello everybody, been watching the footy and then I had to fish a rather wet hat out of the moat and other assorted goodies such as Bicycle wheels, tesco trollies and a rather funny-looking fishi in a glass case, all good rafle prizes I am sure. LadyA I won the beret last week and would like the long johns this week.
mamy - they are stong
Question Author
Uncle Joe and lordalex are perfectly happy snoozing away in the upper smaller hall.
Mamyalynne has them beautifully in hand.

We never mention Morris Dancing here.
Never.
It sets some people off.
