The night is very cold , but our fires have all been banked up so gather round for another evening of wonderful......entertainment....

No doubt the usual array of delicious snacks and nibbles will appear very soon and, of course, there will be another signature tailcock . I expect tonight's one to be especially warming.

For the raffle so far I have:

A red woolly scarf
Two pairs of violet mittens
A packet of Fisherman's Friends

The last I saw of the haggis it was curling (up) on the ice being pursued by a broom.

I am reassured by the thought of Great Uncle McTAvish being unable to cast his eyes on this scene.....men in ladies' underfrillies, offal haggae being fed fruit gums (possibly the least palatable sweet in the world, bar barley sugars) , single male going untasted.

He would be reeling in his frame.
