Good Evening and Welcome to this weeks Mad Over Fifties Club. This evening is looking like a scorcher, so we are taking things down to the beach so I hope you have brought your flip flops, bikinis/shorts and shades. Instead of the usual Hot Plate we are having a BBQ - Beef Burgers, Sausage Rolls, Hot Dogs and a salad bar is also available. Also no pudding trolley but we have brought in a specialist Ice Cream Machine so you can all make your own Ice Cream Sundaes – massive selection of sauces, sweeties and hundreds and thousands and mini cones. No Hot Tub but we do have the Olympic sized Paddling Pool. Igor is not in attendance this evening as he is away participating in trials for Silver Polish. The Tailcock this evening is the Long Island Iced Tea – something very refreshing on a lovely sunny evening. We have a new band this evening the 'Summer Time Blues' who specialise in Buddy Holly Tributes but they will be giving their spin on various Summer Anthems from the 50's through to the present day. We have a volleyball net set up at the west side of the beach if anyone fancies a game, a selection of inflatables (lilo's rubber rings and dinghy’s) are available if you wish to go into the water and for those daredevils among us we have 2 Twin Seater Jet Skis.
For the Rofl I have 2 bottles of nail polish
Yesterdays Daily Mail Puzzles half finished
Good evening all. I have roused myself from my sick bed to come and see what is happening this evening. I see Queenie has been doing a sterling job, but
I see that we are a tad understaffed, I shall arrange for more staff to be in attendance, and Excel the hot tub is of course bubbling away as always.
Now if you will excuse me I shall close down the kindle and fire up the laptop, and return shortly
Not to worry. Will give Igor the rock next week. Luckily not tempted to eat it myself. This tea is moreish. Seem to have finished this. May I have a refill? Oh, hot dogs! Pleeeease
