Good evening and welcome to Nungate Towers.
Igor is at the door waiting to welcome you all, be careful if he offers to take care of your coats, and cloaks and broomsticks, you may never see them again.
Tonight's Tailcock is the Big Bertha, an anticipatory sort of brew.....
The running buffet has become firm favourite and will be running round the Towers yet again this evening - try and catch it if you can! For those members who are less fit (or just lazy) we have set up a nice supper in the snug. There you will find sorts of goodies as well as our world famous volly vonts, canopies and horses doovers.
As we still have a semblance of pleasant weather, we can indulge in some out door activities this evening, there are some pleasant walks around the rose garden, and the lake, we can stroll down to the beach (water is a tad cold and not really suitable paddling) The outdoor pool is heated so anyone who would like to go swimming can borrow a swimsuit.
Our favourite local band, The Tone Deafs have gone off on a tour of the Outer Hebrides so we have engaged the services of DJ Bernard for dancing down in the ballroom. All our usual facilities are available for members use so come on in and join the party

an ice lolly, ice cream in the centre with a fruity sorbet on the outside.
I'm very partial to del monte orange lollies these days, those and pistachio flavoured magnums - I have a small stash in the freezer and no one is allowed them but me - I have been known to share on occasion

Thanks nun. Your stash is safe from me. Only very occasionally eat ice cream, had one last year. Dislike most things orange flavoured but like oranges, tangerines and satsumas

funnily enough it's only those orange ones I share, nobody gets their mitts on my pistachio magnums! I will share any other kind but not the pistachio ones! Don't mind ice cream but it has to be a really good one, I hate the mass produced kind that's never been anywhere near a cow! We are lucky to live near a couple of really good ice cream parlours
