The Club is now Open.

Well, after weeks of stravaiging and gallivanting, it is wonderful to be back in the bosom of the Club.

Examination of the Minutes of the meetings held in my absence suggest that all has gone well , with the possible exception of a few cases missing from the cellar, but we will draw a veil over that.

There will be the usual raffle tonight and I have donated

A National Truss Tea Towel, hardly used at all.

Half a tin of toffees (only a few teethmarks showing)

and a Buff Puff Body Rub (completely new, but rather elderly).

Further prizes will be welcome.

Can knit a few shackles but why would anyone leave? I haven't been past the portcullis since the Coronation.
Give the sossies to the croc then, it will take his mind of his tussle with Noth.
Sorry boxy seems there is confusion over I's and 1's tonight - but far ve it from me to point it out. ☺ Not sure about wool miladay there is a propensity of goose abundant apparently - that is white too though. Mamya likes white - it accentuates her angelic features

It's not a question of leaving, it's getting lost........
Oh well, it was just a thought.

Alexanderd, if the croc is still in the moat, then what or who is the froggy speaking log ?
This place is beginning to exceed the bounds of madness tonight.
Ah yes mamya Victoria's was a wonderful do was it not?
I didnt know we had a frog that spoke in logarithms, how clever is that?
Question Author
You've taken that too far now, Ena.......
Yes I do like white and I could always make little arrows from the goose feathers so people can find their way around this cavernous place.

Is this the same frenchy who occupied the conservatory for a time? Shifty he was.
Question Author
Alexandred, it's not a froggy speaking logs, it's a loggy speaking frog.

Anyway, nobody knows what logarithms are now...and as for slide rules.....
There you go milady

Mamya, your memory is wonderful...I'd forgotten about the froggy in the Conservatory, It took us weeks to get rid of the smell of garlic...I bet he has returned in disguise.
You were right, Alexanderd......

Mamya's memory is fantastic - the tailcocks over many years - saints preserve her.

I got lost coming up the drive! Am I in the right place ? Are there over 50 people here? Are they hiding?
This place is madder than usual tonight have we got interlopers from next door again?
Question Author
Lordalex has had a wonderful time over the last few weeks......he has been constantly accompanied by Uncle Joe who is proving a boon.......we did quadruple their medications so they spent a lot of time in the land of Nod..but their dreams seem to have been happy ones.
We have had to reduce the meds over the last few days, though and if you listen carefully, you can hear the groaning that they like to think of as singing.
Would anybody like to try my trapeze?? i made it out of wool - it's really very good and most useful for avoiding the naperian frog log
