The Club is now open.

What a delightful week we have had, climaxing in a glorious day at the local fruit and flower show where lordalex's onions failed to impress the judges yet again, but his leek was highly commended.

My own efforts in the home baking classes also got the thumbs down, but perhaps, as the judge commented, raisin and anchovy scones are something of an acquired taste.

My contributions to tonight's raffle are:

6 parsnips
3 carrots
and half a ball of gardening twine

As I am having trouble with the site tonight, I will post this slightly early.

Welcome all, and thank you so much for the prizes.

How is everyone this evening ?
Good evening, your ladyship. I have brought for the raffle some blue-green algae I acquired from a pretty little lake up north. Oh yes, and a hand knitted soup ladle.
Question Author
lordalex's leek was enormous
Wow what a great start and new faces too, I will add the pie to the selection of cold collations already on offer, plus a vast array of tailcocks as per tradition are already on the long buffet table in the lower upper lesser greater gallery.
Hallo everyone, well thank you milady, I have brought some cherry flavoured coca cola in cans which I bought by mistake. I think it will mix well with the Wincarnis.

Nice to see you back, petal.
Have you had your meds this week ?
fine, now i have removed the stays/corsets
Please may I start again. Good evening every body. Hope all of you are well and bonny. I have got a magicians conjuring outfit, somewhere it has a lot of disappearing tricks in it. A left handed toothbrush. A thing for getting boy scouts out of horses hooves and a can of Jeyes fluid. I think it is Jeyes fluid, well its not mine
Question Author
Hope I win the Jeyes fluid...we've had a few problems with the drains lately.
I blame lordalex's leeks.
does the algae make things glow or turn ones bodily functions purple?
are a dozen "used " terry towelling nappies of any use for the raffle ?
yes,re the meds, have a new doctor, trying new treatments that seem to be improving things, tend to bay at the full moon though!
Anne, I'd have thought the nappies might come in very useful, given the prevailing dampness in the Club sometimes.... (read into that what you will)
