good morning again. Me and the dogs are having a peaceful breakfast. DH had drunk a whole big glass of lucozade and one of pineapple juice and gone back to sleep. Help I've messed with my display and now although the wallpaper is fine and the icons, the writing under the icons are in blue boxes and AB is white with no lines. How can I get it all back to normal??

Mr S has a face as long as a vicars sermon most of the time .He's getting a bit fed up waiting for this op .It's all a bit depressing .

Never mind ,it's a bright and breezy day here . I have crosswords , whisky and I had a cooked brekkie with fried bread ! Schnitzel,broccoli and new pots for dinner.
I'm dreading the week ahead though .We've ordered a skip and the old shed is going and all the junk that is in it ,old furniture and any other old crip I can find ..It'll be chaos .

oh joy Shaney....a skip....I love skips, they are so liberating. Sorry to hear that Mr S still has no op date. The waiting is the worst. Bonfires are illegal before 7pm but not everyone complies...its amazing, whoever has the bonfire, we get the smoke!
Neti in control panel, there should be an option called display, just go and work through the options till you find the right one.

I am really fed up. My Ghosthunting neighbour is having the most awful row with her son. Fair enough, have a row, but I've never heard such terrible language from a neighbour in all the years I've lived here. (46) There's smashing pots and all sorts.
I have put Bob's CD on called Slow train coming. It was when he was going through his religious time and the titles of his songs could give some good advice to them next door. So now I can't hear them rowing. Wouldn't surprise me if she came round and ask me to turn it down.

Sorry to moan, not like me, I'm usually quite tolerant, but not today.
Think I'll go and sort out what I'm taking with me when I go to see my son next Thursday.

I've just had snitzel too shaney and kebabs, salad, chips bread alioli, big bottle of fizzy water, as I'm on the work run! Thes restaurant was oin the beach at Figueral and it was heaving, Mr N was reversing from a distance into the only available space when a scooter raced past and parked, Oh said Mr N, right said I and walked up to the couple, Were you parking here they asked? all atremble, yes I said so they hopped it pretty sharpish. Was wearing a big sunhat and floaty top and trousers, so maybe I looked famous, or important or just big!!!!

Think have just broken another toe, it's next to the big toe and I have dropped a stupid piece of trellis that stoopid Mr N puts in the open doorway to stop the cats from coming in. Ouch, it's gone a very strange shape sort of bent in the middle and leaning to one side! Have managed to drive hija to work (she was out partying all night again, home at 14.30! Seems OK though!) Mind she works in an all inclusive hotel so the guests are probably as pi**ed as she is!

I'll send you my old computer to play with, neti, it is deceased, defunct and demised. Still awaiting Stan's suggestions to replace it, may have to do it on return from Paree. Meanwhile this netbook is driving me bananas. I have hacked a sprawling hedge back to a nubbin so I will not need a ladder to trim it in years to come but it is now pouring so I have come inside. Have they calmed down yet Jude? we used to live next to an elderly couple who got drunk every sunday lunchtime and argued all the rest of sunday. It was in a semi so it was very trying.

We are enjoying a quiet Sunday here...very nice

Oh dear Jno ..we rely so much on these machines . I remember saying I would never have one in the house.....what a load of rubbish ...I'll never be able to work a computer ,blah ,blah, blah , and now look at me .If it goes on the blink I nearly have a nervous breakdown..Lol.

Hi All. Yes they've calmed down now Woofy. When I think about it, it only lasted about half and hour I really don't hear them much at all to be honest and the young lad speaks to me really pleasantly at times. I just can't stand the 'yawping' and terrible swearing. Just not necessary. They may have got the message with my loud music which isn't normal for me.

Yes Neti, stop dashing about, and rushing into things. Hark at me!! My metabolic rate has been that high all my life I'm just about slowing down :¬) and that's my body, not my mind.

It surely must be depressing waiting for a date Shaney, hope it gets sorted very soon.

I had pasta salad and now my tum feels like I swallowed a cannon ball. My darling stubborn pig of a husband, having had a wonderful day, refused to take his evening anti sickness tablet and I have just cleared up the predictable result. Tomorrow I am going to pinch his nose and make him take it.

Hello,

Have a sore mouth from gum infection where I bite with my bottom teeth into my gum behind my two top front teeth (an ongoing situation). So am feeling somewhat glum today. Found I had some antibiotics left from the last two episodes, so have started them today. Will ring dentist tomorrow to get some more.

Haven't read through the posts, but will tomorrow. Got to go to the solicitors in the afternoon to look through the land sale contracts which are nearly (touch wood) at the point of exchanging!!
