haha...thanks folks...actually your pic is closest to the situation neti...poor Charlie's had to have most of his teef out, his gums were diseased & they would have fallen out anyway...poor lad, I feel so bl00dy guilty but he's never been a chewer of those cleaning sticks (or anything really) & he wouldn't let me near his mouth. It all went very well apparently, no heart probs at all. He's been a bit distressed but trotting round & had a bit of softened dinner. Hopefully tiredness will keep him calm tonight, I'm beside myself with exhaustion.

hello all so glad charlie is okay, I have done something stupid to my neck and can't turn my head so am sat here waiting for the pain meds to kick in and eating chocolate biscuits.

ouch Charlie, am coming out in sympathy with you, my incisor is killing me and the gum is receding but I'll just get on with it, can't afford a dentist so near to Xmas!!!! ha ha imagine my daughter's face if she upwraps her present and there's my tooth sitting there, cos could only afford one or the other!!!!

morning all...the toofless wonder has had a peaceful night...in fact he's not up yet so I'm letting him sleep until he wants to go outside, it's a foul morning anyway.
We had a terrible wind/rain blast yesterday about 1.30ish & apparently it was a tornado that did some damage over t'other side of town :o/. As Jude says though, it's far, far worse up north

well, today's alarm clock is not zen, it is the council's tree-cutters. They never used to have any and our street was a lovely green avenue, but of course since the roots started undermining people's property and making it uninsurable they now do it every year. No good bonging me dearie, have no idea about soda crystals. Have cleaned up my bathroom taps with wirewool and ciletbang, Mr n would be horrified (he's a plumber) but they have come up a treat and not a scratch on them - I am well pleased and chuffed to ninepence.

Afternoon, all. Chas had his tea yet? Will he be alright with not-so-many teeth? Don't feel badly Robinia, I had my cat for seventeen years and it didn't occur to me until she was already an OAP that maybe you were supposed to clean their teeth. Vet never said anything about it, really, how are you supposed to know. You never see any commercials for oral hygiene for pets or anything, do you, and I've never heard anybody I know mention it.

I enjoyed reading about and looking at your desktop wallpapers. I bet I know which picture of Shaney it is, Shaney! The one you posted a long time ago where he looks over his shoulder? / Neti I did send Dolly the link, the same evening I sent it to everybody else. She's had a couple of different email addresses hasn't she? Perhaps she changed again and forgot to tell us?

I saw my youngest half-sis yesterday, we had some Indian food and went to as many stores as time and feet would allow. I showed her two of my favourite stores, Spiti and Raja. Here are some photos from Spiti's web site to give you a feel of the "wonderful things" we saw (like Howard Carter).

Yoohoo folks .I'm fine thank you .Tighter socks and some gunge to rub on the bit that won't heal and itches like crazy ,back in three months and if they are happy with my leg then I'll be discharged . Praise the Lord .
Oh dear poor Woofy .Necks are a B .Mine is hanging by a thread and I have to do side to side movements to cross the road .I look like a parrot looking for a peanut .
Those shops are lovely Kit . I want that cupboard ,the first one in the slide show .
Pleased to hear Charlie is doing well Robinia .You mustn't feel guilty .I was like that with Shaney .Did I do this wrong or that wrong . Should I have taken him to the vets sooner and so on . He didn't appear to be poorly until those last two days .
Give him a pat from me :)

On the other hand I had a bit of a blow yesterday. My eldest brother has bowel cancer ..He hasn't mentioned this to me or my other brothers and every time we phone and mail and ask about his health he says he's fine and changes the subject , but yesterday my sis in law sent me a sneaky email and told me he has left it far too long and is now just on morphine and some other drug . They wanted to operate and give him an outlet thing but he (his words) told them to sod off .Stubborn old bugger .( my words ).He is nearly 81 ...but still..
Then on Friday my other brother has to go and have this barium thing and a camera inserted because he is having problems .
I feel all jittery and tearful .

Shaney I'm so sorry for your bad news. I think your sis in law did the right thing, I hope he thinks so to in a while and that he will be able to let you all in a bit, even if he doesn't want anything to do with surgeons.
