Does anyone have a Fatboy Original ? If so, would you perform a small experiment for me please! Is it possible to mould Fatboy into a 90 degree angle lengthwise, i.e. the way you would "fold" it if you were to place it as temporary padding on a wooden settee? Thanks!

G'day cobbers! Thought I'd make Dolly>/B> and jno feel at home! My, my it's very very windy here today (No I don't mean me) everything is blowing across the island, i doubt I'll ever see my patio table again. But I will tie myself to the gate and make my way to village for morning coffee, or the locals will think the end of the world has arrived if I don't appear.
Sorry - had to shout over the wind!
Hey! who sent me a catalogue called Fifty Plus?!....tut
Ok, so maybe I am, but the postlady didn't need to know. Now I'm gonna have to give her my last cstrd to keep her quiet...............actually there's a nice cardie....and some comfy looking elasticated waists......
Oh that's one of my secrets, elasticated waists, only have on one pair and no one sees it!
Hi All what a lovely day today.
I've had a 50 plus too Robi didn't rate it very much either.

Been for a walk down to Alvaston Park today with my sister and we had a sit down and a talk to the ducks and geese. There's loads of them. My sister was busy taking photos.

And guess what - I'm actually out tonight. My friend text me and she asked if I felt like going out to our usual haunt, Well what could I say. So I'm off.

So I hppe you all have a lovely weekend.

See yer later 'gater(s)!!
hello all, surfaced again. I think the poor old bod has decided to go on temporary strike so I have gone along with it. Am mostly sleeping and lying around. The antibi's I was on didn't help and played merry hell with my digestion (don't ask) Dh is getting over his cold and now sounds like a cross between Barry White and an elephant seal.
Glad to hear that you are all still alive if not exactly kicking. I remember the shock when I first got glasses....hadn't realised that the green blur on trees was actually individual leaves.
Going back to sleep now
morning...by heck that cold wind's reaching the parts..

here's something fascinating to look at. Hold your cursor over each country to see the facts 'n figs on the left, but it's the ones on the right that make you think.
Happy Sunday folks, absolutely lovely day here, warm sunny most springlike. Poor woofy it's been a long time now. Keep yer pecker up! My we are mightly quiet here lately, and that jude going gallivanting again, will I ever get any peace with my daughter partying and all.

Mr N is golf competition today, so no lunching, have ordered a delicious roast chicken in herbs and juice and chips (i like chips) cos i am not cooking on a sunday.

Where is that Vinny??

No luck on Euromillions and I really needed it!!
Well it started off a lovely morning, beautiful sunshine, got my washing dry and now it's persisting down.

Here's hoping you get well soon Woofy .

Had a not bad night on Friday Netiexcept I ended upyawning my head off as I have been going to bed early and getting up early lately so I wasn't used to the late night. My friend had a bit of a bad back and so we ended up coming home earlier than usual like two ole crocks. Ha Ha!! I did just manage one rock and roll!!
I wonder about Vinny too. I can't imagine him just stopping coming on here without sayijng anything after all this time.
Off to do my lunch now see yer later 'gater(s)

shuttit sweti...it's rain & a tearing gale here, no dry washing for me Jude -I'd no sooner pegged out than I had to unpeg again...and the wheelie bin's blown over....and no millions for I either

Yoohoo folks
It's been lovely here today ,bright and sunny but very cold .
East winds which go through, rather than round you .
Chin up Woofy old girl .Hope you soon feel better . These lurgys hang around and around .What we need is some warm weather .The warmer the better .
Only one rock and roll Jude .? You're slipping :))
We went to a car boot sale this morning in a muddy field . Of course I had to buy something so came back with a china dog for my collection and a blue and white jug for my other collection .....Mr S. tutted as usual .............:)
Take care all ..and come in Vinny ....the seagulls are missing you :)
I think mr s and mr n are the same person, mine tuts very loudly when i buy anything at all!!
Just make sure you have a ribbon in your hair, a nice hot meal ready and slippers warming by the fire when he gets back from golf neti :)
And whatever you do for goodness don't have any raggedy children running round .Haha.....
Wasn't that ghastly. although tis what I do!!! Can you imagine "and if he stays out all night" I should coco!!
Hilarious . By the time you had done all that you would have been worn out . I like the bit that his topics of conversation are more important than yours . Yeah ..right :))
Offer to take off his shoes ....no thank you ! I can do without whiffy feet :) Oooh I have laughed .
a'noon....(((SLAM!!)))...oops, sorry, tis blowing a gale here & it's freezing with it....

bloomin heck Neti you've started me orf now, I've just been & rummaged out my 'Household Management Illustrated' book. My mum obviously sent away for it c.1950, it's still got the brown cardboard wrapper....it's a hoot but she obviously didn't read it much, haha, it's almost pristine...

some quotes...
To run a house properly is an art, and a highly skilled one. The accident of being born a woman does not make one a good housewife....
Breakfast in the kitchen can be a cheerful affair if gay tablecloths are used....
Buy a good lavatory brush & take care of it. After washing, hang in the open. (would that mean the brush or yourself?)

Better don me turban & get some rugs beaten & de-mothed...oh & there are letters to write to The Lord Chancellor & a Viscount or two....how have I survived this long without knowing how to do that....?

ha ha Robi</BZ but are you allowed to say gay tablecloths these days - umm what is a gay tablecloth (one that lays itself!!!)
