Same goes for this bloke referred to as jesus. Is there any reliable proof of his existence apart from stories in dubious books ?

A surprising number of people believe in the Adam & Eve story. The much lauded Creation Museum in the USA defies all rationality. As for Jesus, there is no reliable proof of his existence but personally I think he did exist - albeit as a man rather than a miracle.

Does anyone?
As for Jesus christ...who the hell thought it would be a good idea to name your son something you scream out after hitting your thumb with a hammer?
Well as she was a virgin that's probably what Mary said when he popped out.

Just a the odd billion or so Christians.
I should imagine there are lots of Christians who don’t believe in the literal story of Adam and Eve.
Jesus on the other hand, is rather fundamental to it I’d have thought
I think only a small percentage will believe in the Adam & Eve guff, danny.

I bet most of them voted for Trump as well.
Mock not.
i find that Eve was created from one of Adam's rib a bit of a stretch

MWG14, do you believe it?
Can any of the sceptics here come up with another, plausible, explanation for the creation of man/woman kind?
Ooh it sounds like a party!
When you say 'another plausible explanation', danny, does that mean you think the Adam & Eve explanation is plausible?
Danny, non of the sceptics like to admit that whilst decrying my and others faith, they do indeed have a very strong faith of their own.
I, however, do not have enough faith to become a atheist, too many crazy ideas to believe in or accept.
Generally, they have an unfounded faith in science, even though science is nowhere near to answering the big questions.
1) The universe had a beginning, and came from nothing. How?
2) How did life come about from inert chemicals?
3) The theory of evolution is in crisis, with so many scientists looking for ways to modify it, as Darwin's theory is full of holes, so how does variation of species occur?
4) What is the origin of information?

The best answers AB has ever offered are simply unfounded opinions based on feelings and nothing more.

By Jove! I think he's got it! That describes your posts on religion perfectly, Theland!
is there a plausible explanation for the creation of the first man and woman on earth?
Don't tell fibs Naomi. You know I always found my answers on references, unlike you.
Naomi // danny, does that mean you think the Adam & Eve explanation is plausible
No, I have an open mind to this.
Yes, your answers give references to unfounded opinions, Theland. I don’t tell fibs.
